yeah, the excuse would be Floyd is too old and past his prime to compete in a weight class he's too small for. Would you advise Roy Jones after Tarver II to fight at HW?
Would you advise Pacquiao to fight at 154? You don't need to answer that, because I've seen your posts regarding this subject in the past

I agree that no fighter would sign for a fight 5 months down the line, when they'd got a fight coming up.

But the Canelo camp are saying that Floyd had a verbal agreement with them, that he'd be willing to fight in Sept, IF they both won their respective fights and everything went to plan. But now he's apparently backtracked on what he originally said.

he only lost two but even losing two rounds to Cotto is ridiculous if they fought in their prime Maywether Ko's Cotto in 7 rounds . Mayweather should stay at 147

trouts not on the **** list so that only leaves canelo if he wins in april.

the thing is if youre going to have a **** list why would you make it public?

you hide it and slowly leak it out and before you know it youve cahsed in on all the idiots that couldnt figure it out that floyd is not going to seek out greatness in the later part of his career(srl-hagler/sergio-chavez jr./jmm-pac,etc.)

    that list...pure ****ing garbage.

    angulo? garcia? maidana?

    **** floyd mayweather.

Oh well yeah. I mean the argument about May not taking risk is old for me. It's pretty obvious to me that he doesn't take challenges of higher risks. What I mean about "business" was the fact that some people are exaggerating about the demands of Canelo n ****. I don't think it was personal. Just simple business. It wasn't disrespect towards May. Both can deny and demand whatever the **** they want. It's about what benefits each.

As far as May not taking the challenge vs Canelo, I'm not surprised. Maybe he does fight him next but I doubt it.

He might fight Alvarez but he definitely won't fight Trout. Seeing as Trout offers nothing to his legacy and won't make him much money. At least Alvarez would make for a huge payday.

My point is it is easy to put faith in Floyd over the internet when it doesn't mean anything. I don't think you'd put even a small amount of money on it. Basically, I can't believe you believe that or don't know why you would if you did (Blind loyalty, I guess).

my point is I can't predict the future in boxing. Did you expect Bute to get killed vs Froch? or that Ward would fight Dawson at 168 and stop him? or that Marquez would KO Pacquiao

plenty of things can happen in the near future and a lot of fights that make perfect sense just don't happen
