Will Mayweather fight the winner of Canelo-Trout in September?

Yeah but you know its always different story's according to Alvarez boss Mayweather doesn't have a problem with a fight in sept he's just not trying to sign while they both have fights coming up which is understandable. From my perspective there are only two fights i would argue taking in September the Alexander-Brook winner or assuming they can get the fight done an two of them meet up before hand the winner of the Pacquiao/Marquez/Bradley triangle. Outside of those fights the Alvarez-Trout winner is the best option anything besides that and you won't hear a complaint from me if you bag on em. For now I'd rather wait before passing judgment

are you saying Floyd isn't too small for 154? The reason he can compete there is because of his skill level, not because of his size. If he's declined too much with age, then he can't compete there. It's that simple. I still believe he has enough left to compete there, but if not, then he needs to stay at his NATURAL weight class.

Roy Jones could compete vs Ruiz at HW because he was fast and skilled enough to do it despite being in the 190's. That doesn't mean he belongs at the weight.

 

Did Floyd look small to you in his last fight at 154? He isnt big, but hes not exactly small. It isnt like Alvarez is all that huge either.


Your comparing like a 30+ pound jump in weight in Roy Jones at HW, vs Floyd at 154 which is probably like his walking around weight...

 

Canelo comes into the ring 168 pounds. Yes he's big and Floyd is small, especially for 154 where he can't even make the weight the day of the fight.

and I'm using Roy as an example that small fighters can compete with bigger fighters due to speed and skill.
If Floyd ages over night, he won't be able to compete with them. It's a very simple concept.

Pac (or midget as Floyd calls him) has bulked up to the limit of his physical effectiveness. Floyd clearly has the frame to put on more weight, if the ambition is there.

Hopefully, provided Mayweather gets by Guererro comfortably as I expect him to, a fight with Alvarez is a possibility. Alvarez has a tough task ahead of him but I think he has it in him to grind out a victory over Trout and, in patches anyway, look good in doing so.

Void has already refused to fight Alvarez, Pac, Trout, Martinez, etc., Void is void. Void will not fight any really good fighter. Perhaps Christy Martin? Guerrero is a featherweight.................

I doubt that Floyd will fight Canelo, especially if he beats Trout and looks good doing so. I hope I'm wrong though, I'd love to see it.
