Floyd is signed to Showtime. So that's the network it would have to take place on. That could be tricky considering Martinez is signed with HBO. It doesn't matter anyway as this fight won't be happening.

 

Floyd has a contract with Showtime. He's only allowed to fight on there until his contract is up. If Sergio is allowed to fight on a network other than HBO, then the fight can happen

0% chance of this fight happening at this point. Martinez will be inactive until next year, in which he'll take one fight before a possible showdown with GGG, who will become a bigger name by that time. There's a good chance Martinez will retire after that fight.

 

After Floyd beats Canelo there's really no one else for him. Martinez is on the down slide, he's been showing it in his last couple of bouts. Pac is washed up, even if he beats Rios which I believe he is, Brandon Rios is a C class fighter anyway. There's nobody below 147lbs or at 147lbs that can take Floyd. This sound crazy but I don't think he has 4 more notable opponents after Canelo. Unless Canelo gives him a good fight so they can rematch. The only fight that I can see Floyd taking that would really test his skill and put him in the top 10 or maybe 5 ATG list is Andre Ward. Truth be told he might be already there.

 

Why don't all the wankers ( haters ) call for a fight between Mayweather, and Klitchko, then spend hours trying to persuade each other he is a gutless **** for turning it down?
