He'll retire with strong consideration for top ten all-time imo.

he fought mosley when shane was coming off one of his best wins against margarito. and how was hatton not an a-list fighter at the time? he was undefeated and uk's biggest boxer until floyd gave him that L and it was downhill from there.

The major what if for him is fighting Pac in 2010/2011. Probably should have fought Cotto earlier as well, although I think he definitely would have beat him. I always would have been interested in a 147 fight with Williams as well.

with fighters like Pac and Floyd you have to take into account that they have tons of haters. I think that they are both top 50 ATGs but they are still fighting so lets see how far they will get.

The klits won't be remembered in the same light as Mayweather...only a troll or a fool would think otherwise.

    What better opposition appeared???

Be specific so we can all have a good laugh.

Cotto just admitted he never tried to fight Mayweather earlier in his career.

A genuis of a boxer, hits but doesnt get hit, Brilliant. Boring to watch due to be so good defensively.

Negative is always going to be the Pac fight never coming off, and if it did now it would be too late. Had he beat Pac in his prime then no questions, no ifs buts or maybes.

People will miss Floyd when he is gone.

This is a silly post. Mayweather's record shows he has beaten the best fighters from. 130-155 pounds. The only person he missed out on was Tyzu who was injured when Mayweather was at that division so he had to make do with Gatti the WBC champion.
