Personally, my gut feeling is Ortiz will sellout to win and get countered and hit in the face a lot and the ref or his corner will stop the fight at some point.

I was think yes but after watching there last 3 fights Floyd is going to punish Ortiz big time! I would not be shocked if the ref stops it late.

When was the last time Floyd stopped anyone? Also Ortiz stopping Floyd is even more unlikely. Strange poll showing more in favour of it not finishing the full 12......This fight has UD/SD written all over it.....

I initially thought it would go the distane but now im going for Floyd in 8. Think Ortiz corner will stop it around then.

Really? Seriously? So most of you are invisiging Floyd fighting completely different from the past 5 years or so and suddenly becoming the second coming of Mike Tyson?

Well if he does then it will be a very interesting fight with Ortiz having a chance of winning. Otherwise it'll be the usual Floyd defensive shutout.

The over-under is ****ing 11.5. So if you think there is any chance in hell of a stoppage you might want to lay down a bet.

Tyson was K.O'ing people in 1st round, 2nd round, 3rd round. To say that just because Floyd will k.O Ortiz in the 8th isn't comparing him to Tyson in any way.

Sheeeeeet Floyd K.O'd Ricky in round ten not unrealistic to think that he could get Ortiz a few rounds earlier than that.

The main reason for me saying this is Ortiz is a big WW with very good power and speed. I doubt if Floyd will want to be overly aggressive with the likes of Ortiz. If Floyd is careless, he will get knocked down. Floyd is safety first, so why will he run the risk when he can just outbox him defensively.

As for Hatton, that was one ugly lunge that resulted in a Floyd KO. He might as well have put a stamp on his chin and mailed it to Floyd. Ortiz im sure will not be so wreckless!

If Ortiz comes to win...floyd will beat the **** out of him and force a ref or corner stoppage mid-late in the fight. Not because Floyd is super aggressive. But because Ortiz is always aggressive, little defense, open to counters...And quite frankly, that's his only chance to win. If ortiz fights any other way than being super aggressive, he loses 100% of time. If he fights super aggressive, I think floyd will counter the **** out of him and win via stoppage.

The question is...Will Victor Ortiz come to win? Or is he coming for the media attention, the $, and simply to 'compete' with floyd?

If he comes to win, floyd stops him 90% of the time...And Ortiz's chance is for floyd to get injured; which only could happen if Ortiz comes to brawl.

    Floyds last three fights

Mosley = Comming off a great win but shot/faded what ever you want to call it and likely over trained as he was prepairing for Berto

JMM = much smaller man didnt bring nothing up in weight with him Floyd failed to make the contracted weight limit

Hatton = Are you ****ing serious, Collazo exposed hatton

    Early stoppage if Ortiz fights.
Late stoppage if he is on his bicycle. (maybe decision)
Floyd wins easily. (even if he goes out all nite the nite before)
