Probably not. In general, fighters don't know when to hang them up. Mayweather lives a clean life and is extremely intelligent in terms of boxing, so he could be an exception. I'm not sure it will happen though. He won't be able to say no to the paydays.
My prediction is that he'll retire again before too long, find himself in money trouble again in maybe three years, come back, and get sparked after he's lost another couple steps.
Only if he ducks Pac and Martinez! But it doesn't matter Cotto is going to take care of Void on May 5th! It's already written in stone!
lets say floyd fights twice more after cotto.......if he puts one of those fights in an interest bearing account that he cant touch until hes 55 hes good to go...and thats if he hasnt already put something like that aside......and he can easily live for another year and a half without one 30-40 mil check.....
If say no because the pay days are too good to pass up. At what point will Floyd simply walk away from another 20-30 million dollar pay day? I just don't see him doing that. I actually think he'll have a few losses and milk his marketability until the pay days aren't as good. Then i see him walking away.
