    you hear of Tyson making $300 million over his career and De la hoya something like that as well

    I believe these next few fights for Mayweather could be huge, I dunno if the figure of $40 million for Ortiz is true, if it is he could be looking at a total of $150 million+ in his next 3 fights alone.

    Who would he be fighting in the next 2 fights to make $110M+? (according to your maths and figures).

    Pacquiao, and who? How much do you think he makes for each fight?

    he can easily make $110 or even more in his next 2 fights after Ortiz.

    Pacquiao = $70-80 million

    Khan = $40+ million

    If MGM pay a $35 million hosting fee for the Pacquiao fight and the fight does 4 million homes at $55 dollars each thats ($240 million PPV revenue) and when you add the other revenues like the possiblity of it being on PPV in the UK where it could do another million buys+ at £14.95 etc.

    Mayweather and Pac should make $85 million min each.

    Holy made over $250M.

    3x Bowe, 2x Tyson and 2x Lennox were each very, very lucrative fights.

    He already could have...

    He just should have been a lot busier, didn't protect his precious 0 as much and not taking ridiculously long breaks.
    If he fought Pac a lot earlier, and rematched him later. With a few other lucrative fights or even a rubber match with Pac in the near future he would been loaded.

    The big money is always in the big fights... And the even bigger money is in the rematches of the big fights.
    It's even better to win and lose or draw one, because that means the 3rd fight brings in the jackpot.
    Strange that some boxers just don't seem to grasp that.

    Wrong. De La Hoya made 500+ Million in his career.

    I expect a 35-40 Million Payday against Ortiz, ca. 70 Million against Pac and even a bit more if he beats Pac on a SD and they gonna make a rematch.
    If he beats Pac and Khan keeps winning, Floyd will make another 40+ Million Payday against Amir.

    So, in a perfect world, Floyd makes about 220 Million Dollar in his next 4 Fights! Unfortunately we dont live in a perfect world :smooch

    I can't see him topping De La Hoya, though it's not impossible.

    If he stays active for the next few years I can see him surpassing it. Not sure how much he's made thus far, but the next few big fights can increase that a lot.

    Super Hater :lol:

    I think it depends on whether or not he's active. If he remains active, defintely; if not, then it's questionable.

    It don't mean **** cause even if he makes a gazillion trillion of money, the way he lives and his lifestyle he'll still gonna waste it all before he's 50 years old. Same sad story ending just like most black fighters :deal:deal:deal
