dude are you for real??? You have no clue as to how big Oscar was do you. It would be a mega successful fight if it gets 2 million, and that would still fall a half a million short of what Oscar vs Floyd did.

To boxing fans, it would be the biggest fight since JCC/Sweet Pea or maybe to a greater extent Duran vs. Leonard.

To the mainstream, it wouldnt be as big as DLH/PBF.

i believe that this might do better for one reason: TRUE Boxing fans are actually interested.

To be honest, not many true boxing fans gave two shits about dlh vs mayweather...whoever won, won...didnt really matter, and oscar was past his prime, if he won Congrats! if he didnt...well...who cares. This caused some true fans to back off.

Pac is very much in his prime, and mayweather might be still (or just a little over).

This is a TRUE "WHOEVER WINS THIS IS THE POUND FOR F**KIN POUND CHAMPION" fight.

EVERY TRUE FAN WILL WATCH THIS. Every casual fan will watch this.

    In one word "HUGE"

yeah Oscar was known to lose his 2 of his last 5 fights and Pacman is on a role. It would be a rare fight of guys who do not know how to lose.

if it didn't, it would be due to the poor state of the economy.

Pac has a great following, but Oscar had the biggest following in boxing. Void has already refused to fight Pac, so perhaps he can get Christy Martin out of retirement.

Believe me, Mayweather-Pacquiao is not on that level......

.....back in the Leonard and even Chavez era, a great percentage of households did'nt have the ability to order PPV at home.....or some of those past fights would have hit PPV buy sales that would be astronomical......

For example, could you imagine the number of PPV buys Leonard-Hagler would do if that fight was fought in todays TV market????

A Mayweather-Pacquiao matchup would be second fiddle to something like Leonard-Hagler!

Yeah, I'd say yes. Because the true fight fans would ALL want to see it! Oscar isn't that much more of a bigger star than Floyd, and Floyd ain't that much bigger than Pacquiao.... if at all?

if it happens it could probably become the richest fight in boxing history. 2 superstars in their prime fighting each other. I hope it happens this year.

This fight may not happen at all because JMM is capable of beating Floyd!
