Will Mayweather's fans be disappointed in him if he fails to knock Hatton down?

Get off your high horse trying to pretend you know boxing better than anyone here. If not getting hit is all you look for in boxing then perhaps you should look at ballet...nobody gets hit there.

I never questioned Floyds style or stated that KO is what Im looking for. My post stated that alot of Floyd fans are saying Floyd will KO hatton, floyd will destroy hatton, what round will floyd KO hatton. Clearly they have set their expectations of a knockout to occur, is it not natural to assume that should their expectations not bet met(a KO), they may be dissapointed?

If Pac were to fight Fana, I would expect a KO and anything less would be a dissapointment. If Pac were to fight ODLH, I would expect Pac to be KO'd, if he even squezes a draw I would be very happy. This isnt about watching boxing only for KO's, its about expectations. Clearly if someone says PBF UD Hatton then I have no problem with that and expect them to be thrilled when PBF does indeed UD Hatton. When someone however goes on about how PBF will destroy, humiliate and knockout Hatton, I would expect them to be somewhat dissapointed if Floyd falls so far from their expectation.

I would be happy with a Calzaghe type domination of Lacy.. I mean that can really retire a fighter!

So basically, a close tough win would be satisfying enough for all his fans, even those who think he will pummel Hatton like he did Gatti.

thats what i thought. Its actually normal to hype up your fighter before a big fight even if you don't really believe all the stuff you say.

Well if what I say makes since and you feel threaten by it , then maybe I do know boxing better then you. If you like seeing guy with no boxing style or technique and that floats your boat then maybe you should look into S&M or a turfman contest for thrills.

Funny I never really made any reference to floyd style but to technical fighter in general .. fighter like Orlando Canazales , Floyd, Donald curry , Rjj, James Toney , Duran ,Willie pep, Ray Robinson all these fighter practice in the fine are of hit and not getting hit to me that Boxing .

If the only reason you watch pac because you expect a KO , then what does that say about the rest of his skill set , because he's not going to KO everyone, then what are you left with ? there has to be more to him then just power and speed .

just because a floyd fan or a Hatton fan say they expect to see a KO, well that all well and good but unlikely with world class fighters the Caliber of Floyd and Hatton ,, But its always nice to enjoy the other apsecs of these fighter skill, to see what Skill each bring to the table to defeat the other , Since nether fighter is a KO artist , this fight should be pretty interesting to watch ..
Disappointed if a KO doesn't :think ? why when nether fighter is a devastating Puncher at this weight , but I do expect to see someone ether , get schooled , thought a lesson or humbled.

Brawling will only happen when one of these two fighter runs out of options .

I would be highly dissapointed. A Floyd victory is already a foregone conclusion. Hatton lasting 12 rounds is a moral victory for Hatton. Unless it's a one sided beatdown that ends with Ricky's team either waving the white flag or Ricky eating canvas, I'll be dissapointed.

PBF the last time I was impressed by him was when he dismantled Chico Corrales. Since then he has been perfectly happy to run his way to a decision.
If he stands and fights he gets brutally KTFO by Hatton. Since this wont happen, He is going to run to a decision everyone knows and expects that.
