You see, smart guys like us understand that he's all bull**** when it comes to being "dangerous".

People like UnbeatableFloyd, Standi, and Toopretty, though...

...They buy into the 50 Cent, tough-guy "thug" bull****.

well to his own credit he was very aggressive and stood in there at 130 and 135....now at bigger weights wouldnt you think it was smarter to use your boxing abilities to beat bigger opponents?

The beating will be so brutal, it won't really matter.

Dude please your full of straight bull ****!!! Boxing not to inflict damage on your opponent , no one goes out trying to intentionally kill or maim his opponent thats just ignorant , pain is just part of the package of boxing ..
But I guess it make you feel tuff to say " I like to inflect damage on my opponent or Im tuff enough to take shots. " it doesn't sound tuff just stupid.

If you start liking the idea of getting hit or nolonger getting out of the way of punches its time for you to quite before your death is on some hands, because of your to stupid to say when.

if your taking to much punishment in boxing,or just like swapping punches with every joe that climb through the ropes, your not boxing you just suck!!

just because you say you boxed doesn't validate your point , you just sound like a boxer who got hit way to much.

There are names for those fighters >>BUMS

I'm sure most of the people who say Floyd will KO Hatton are just into the hype of it all. I don't expect him to win via KO or to knock down Hatton, but I do expect a very sound UD over Hatton. So put me in the not going to be disappointed crowd.

maybe maybe not , buts that not the point. My issue is with his statement , that anyone the like Floyd style is of the so called Ghetto influence.

Then your dillusional. Every boxer goes out there to hurt their opponent. Not enough to cause permanent damage but enough to make them quit. Ask any boxer and 95% would say they would prefer to score a KO/TKO over UD, the feeling of punishing your opponent so bad you take away the decision from judges and decide for yourself.

Who said about taking too much punishment? You like to read things and only pick out some words. I said it is about hitting and not getting hit. You tend to concentrate only the "not getting hit" part, some only tend to concentrate on the "hitting" part. Neither is the true beauty of boxing as its missing 1 element. 1 is all offense, the other is all defense. The real beauty of boxing is a combination of both, good offense, and good defense. landing 10 jabs a round and getting hit 2times isnt good offense, its good defense.

When boxing was first born it wasnt a game of tag, about scoring points. It was indeed a toughman contest. As it evolved and rules/points were added, people abused it. Some like Ruiz get away with abusing it, others do it in a subtle way, they land couple of jabs a round and not get hit for the rest of it. The rules and points are there but the origin is to hurt.

After reading you post , I was going to straighten you out , but I realize dude your not making any since at all.

you don't need to punish your opponent to out class him to win fights.
if you can't beat a guy who's using only his jab then you SUCK!

Boxing was based on point because eveyone does not have KO power so you better be well versed in other aspects of the game ..

Seeing a fighter get hurts is something fan like to see just like racing, fan like to watch racing, just to see crashes.

looking spectacular while your crashing your care is not the origin of Racing .

Just like any fighter that steps between the ropes, respect the safety of the other fighter.

I expect floyd to put on a boxing clinic, the sweet science as they say as he did against Oscar and Baldomir. Floyd used to knock cats out all the time in the lower divisions, now that he's consistently moved up he;s changed the way he's approached fights. Only dumbass Hatton fanboys and idiots who know nothing about boxing call it running. Floyd lands about 25 punches per round at around 50%, I just find hit hilarous his opponets throw twice as much and land about 10 per round lol. Maybe even lower.

Hatton has a good chin, although not KO proof or KD proof by any means. If Floyd fails to knock him down, I wouldn't care.
