I think this is something not many people have thought of. I saw an interview with Arum where he brought this up. The only serious charge pending against Mayweather is the domestic dispute incident. The arraignment for that is scheduled for Nov. 9. Is it possible that Top Rank will refuse to even negotiate with Mayweather until he gets that sorted out? Obviously a trial or him being in jail would comprimise any pontential fight.

No only the one that chump Manny has against him, rich people don't go to jail, and not for the petty **** he is in trouble for, his cases will keep getting postponed, if he gets convicted he will just pay a hefty fine and go about his business

He has 6 cases pending against him. The domestic dispute is the only serious one. You also can't forget that Pacquiao is currently suing him. I can see either side refusing to do the fight over that as well.

How long would that take though? Suppose he can't make that happen until December or January. Top Rank may move on and sign Pacquiao to fight someone else in the meantime.

  6. No to answer the question. Arums a lying **** who only cares about money.

I believe Arum had said that Pacquiao has dropped the charges with the interest of having a spring fight w/ Mayweather... Arum had said there's a very good chance of a spring fight...

Nope, this fight could have happened before all of this. This fight is basically all waiting on Floyd and his camp.

iirc, pac dropped the case against oscar/gbp when they said sorry.
floyd could simply say, let's fight drop case, i believe pac would agree.

    thanks man. she's sam pinto..

I can see Floyd refusing to fight unless Pac drops the lawsuit.
