Boxing is the #2 popular sport in Mexico, followed by Football (Soccer) at #1.

Boxing in recent years has massively grown with Hispanics and continues to grow. As it stands, Hispanics are the 2nd biggest ethnic group in America and in about 2 decades will overtake whites. In California, they overtook the white demographic.

The upside to Mexican immigration is what it does for boxing; much akin to how the African American community decades ago helped boxing grow.

Mexicans are immigrating to the US in record numbers. I'm saying this is good for boxing.

Mexicans in the U.S(Chicanos) don't really like boxing.

They like MMA and American Football more.

Chicano and real Mexican culture are just simply different from one another. The parents come and still have the traditional Mexican culture, but their kids inherit the Chicano culture.

The U.S has enough Chicano's already.

Chicano's don't like soccer, wtf are you talking about? They like Football and MMA.

  10. You know the word, Chicano, was originally an ethnic slur.

Do you have evidence for this besides anecdotal? Because one of the top demographic ethnic groups for boxing fans in the US is still Mexican.

  13. Man be forreal. They all play soccer.

  14. Root word, chicanery.

Exactly, Mexicans who haven't adopted the Chicano lifestyle. Not all Mexican American's are chicano's.

There's a difference, you'd know if you seen them.
