Will Mexicans Support Maidana?

    I have many Mexican friends and some of them can be very racist against other latinos, so I dont know how much support will Maidana get on May 3th

    Better question might be, will asians support Chino because of his appearance and obvious asian decent. Lations generally are nationalistic but stick together againsts Euro's, Asians or American blacks. Just like those people do against latinos...

    he(south american native americans in general) looks like south asians, not Chinese or Japanese but Filipino... and I dont think they will support him

    What? its the American Continent you fool, its one single continent..

    beside both countries sharing the same mother tong(spanish) both the south american and north american native americans share a very close genome, and also the fact that both(mexico and south american) were colonized by Andalusian Spaniards make their genetic make up nearly the same....

    Im Mexican and I support Maidana. In fact, I support him more than I did canelo for the mayweather fight. But only for the fact that maidana brings it and really gives it his all.

    Cant hate on that. Although it should be an easy fight for may

    Yup, known hundreds of Mexican's throughout my life and this fits the criteria in which they would support another a Latino fighter of a different nationality.

    What kind of education did you have in school to not know the Americas (plural!) is two continents. North and South America.

    Maybe I should support African and Asian boxers because they're technically on the same land mass as Europe!

    I want Chino to beat floyd, only so floyd can get his first loss. If he got a loss then it would make the possiblity of better fights to happen against floyd.

    I have yet to hear a single Mexican named for the undercard yet-and this a a Mexican National Holiday.WTF is with these other names like Khan or Broner and what do they have to do with Mexico?:-(
