:patsch you really do hate him don't you. Regardless of what you saw in these two fights both fighters were owned by fmj.

    now you really are deluded.

fmj fought delahoya whom outweighed him by approx 15lbs and yes ortiz outweighed him by a similar weight too and floyd never asked either of them to fight him at a catch weight. Your point other than hate?

And as for "remember your ignore list"

    Too ****in right!

Paquiao had his ear busted, Judah had his nuts bashed, Malignaggi had his cheek broken, etc. Prediction for this fight? Pain!

Nah, I think will see Cotto stalking and Mayweather looking to counter. If Mayweather comes forward, Cotto will meet him for the inside fight. Can't wait, really looking forward to this one!

    Yes

But I think he should try and force Floyd on the back foot with his physical strength.

I see it happening eventually and Cotto will do what he did against Marg and Pac. He'll run to avoid getting KOed.

Well I'm not sure how many of you fellas have actually boxed before but I've backpedaled plenty of times when sparring against guys that where clearly not as strong as me. Sometimes its part of your tact and sometimes you reset or stand back to observe the situation and the fighters tells, where he leans how he pivots or you what to see how he cuts off the ring etc..etc. So yes Cotto may just backpedal.

Or you can chose not to look at the question and anser subjectively like Klion and automatically make this assumption. I guess its all based on perspective. :good

he doesnt have the speed any more to stand in front of a fighter like floyd. margo was hitting him. this is a total mismatch

Did he ever have the speed to stand in front of Floyd, you reckon?

His biggest tools are the left hook to the body, he must try and get Floyd to move onto them ropes.

At this point in his career and at this weight Floyd will not and does not move on his toes as much as he may have if this was 5 or 6 years ago. I don't understand why people seem to beleive Floyd is going to be on his toes boxing circles around Cotto.....Floyd has really never been an Andre Dirrel type fighter he's more likely to stay in the pocket pivot and shoulder roll while he looks for openings. Cotto wont find it hard to locate Floyd...what he will find difficult is landing clean effective shots.
