No... He hasn't improved, or impressed, for a few years now and is on the decline. Froch and Kessler already know to much for him at 168, Pavlik has already beaten him and I don't see a different outcome and Abraham destroyed him in the 2nd fight. Miranda, despite his early promise, is a B level fighter at best.
In Taylor/Froch Jermain gave Froch absolute hell in the early rounds with sharp, accurate, and well placed right hands. JT gave him hell with left jabs and hooks throughout the fight. JT is fast and accurate. I just can't see Miranda doing the things that really trouble Froch.
He was so close to win one against Abraham I , but right know hes a shadow of that dinamic boxer.........He went to that fight with a great plan and he was doing damage on every punch he landed.
Both Bika & Froch would knock him out early. He will never, ever win a belt and I'll personally give him $1,000,000 if he does.
**** Tommy can i have at least 100 Gs. Give the other 900 to Miranda. On topic Miranda aint got what it takes to be a champ. His skills are horrible and he talks so much **** and cant even back it up.
At SMW? Hell no. Not a chance. That said if he does back down to MW, cleans out some cans and tries to get his hands on one of the belts floating around after Abraham vacates it? Who knows? He might.
Tommy -- if you got that kind of bread laying around, you need to come over here to the states, and show me how you roll:yep
He could very well win an actual belt, like a snakeskin one or something. Might have to be fakeskin now with the way things are going.
The WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO, and even the IBO titles are all held buy guys who would beat Miranda. IBA maybe?
No...Not in the 168 division...its too loaded and I dont see him beating a top contender with his limited boxing skills...he's to predictable and he will get slaughtered by a boxer who can take his punches.
Most fighters have a certain style, or certain type of fighter, you know they will struggle with. It is probably significant that Miranda has now lost to 3 guys with radically different styles.
