You also forget the Vernon himself had a few long lay offs during that time and that Ike had fought the better opposition between the two leading up to the fight, The point your making is what?

He'll get past three rounds at least give him that. He doesn't stand a chance though Vernon will show him what a real pro can do

Ok if I have to explain to you the point I'm making after what I wrote then I'm not gonna bother because you're clueless.

I'm fully expecting Forrest to kick his ass. Honestly, I didn't even think Mora won his fight with Ayala, a guy who Abraham nearly killed with one punch.

How am I clueless its true both men have had long layoffs that is true, **** Ikes series of layoffs started around 98 he went 16 months with no fight until he fought DLH, then went away for another year or so and came back to fight Vargas then dissapeared for nearly five years and came back to fight Verno Phillips.
Vernon well he pretty much went away after his fights with Mayorga had a few lower level fights, my point is this, Both guys had long lay offs how can you even disagree with that its the truth man.
Go back and read your post and my responses I have no idea why your getting your thong twisted up over this everything I said was fact. Quartey is A level Mora is not, That is a fact, Quartey had long lay offs, So did Forrest that is a fact, Quartey fought better opposition leading up to his fight with Vernon, another fact, Quartey was robbed a fact that both agree on, so why are you crying about what I said man? or are you just one of the poster types that likes to argue no matter if we agree or disagree with you? Hmmm

I think Manfredo and Ishe Smith are both B level fighters. Everybody took Manfredo to be KOed by Lacy in the early rounds, but Lacy just won a very close decision.
It was clearly a flash knockdown.

Vernon's looked great lately though, he won every single round and knocked Piccirillo the **** out in the 11th, that's a top performance imo, even though Picirillo's a B level fighter.

I think old Vernon may surprise some people in beating a few of the top fighters at 154 with relative ease. I sure wouldn't pick Simms, Alcine, Sergey or Kirkland/Angulo over him, that just shows how much better the former generation was.:yep

Mora will most likely run around. Personally, I've been waiting to see Mora get his ass beaten for years. With that said, I can't wait for Saturday!

Mora is slick enough to avoid being KO'd within 6.

    Late round stoppage for Vernon!

I agree. Mora will be stopped by TKO or on cuts.
