Will Morales be dismissed by some as Jones, Toney, Holyfield are?

All the elite guys are doing something, so that just evens the playing field. But while I suspect, I don't know, and when someone gets caught I am still disappointed. That said, I do look more mercifully on when old guys do it than when young ones do. Evander Holyfield is freaking 50 and Bernard Hopkins is 47. They should be given steroids, weight cutting diuretics, and loaded gloves to fight top level guys half their age, just to even the playing field. Take a look at Archie Moore's physique when he fought Ali. That's how a great fighter that age should look without any drugs. But these guys are chiseled Adonises.

The people I really have a problem with taking steroids are hypocrites who call out others while doing drugs themselves. Floyd Mayweather is such a scumbag I can't believe it. Then when I heard that Vitali Klitschko took 'roids I was shocked. What does a six foot seven two-hundred and forty-five pound monster need to be taking steroids for? He's already bigger and stronger than everybody on the planet. You're gonna tell me God uses steroids next! The things people will do for a competitive advantage surpasses all belief.

However, there are still all kinds of legal and semi-sanctioned ways to cheat which people use everyday and don't catch the same kind of flack for. I'm talking about Abner Mares and his low blows against Agbeko. Duran vs Buchanan. Low blows just get winked at by the refs and judges but they can seriously damage the momentum of a fight. Likewise, the blatant holding and hitting, rabbit punching, punching between the break, spinning, tripping, headbutting, elbows, thumbing, and stepping on feet. These are especially uncalled for when utilized by an obviously superior fighter. Mayweather didn't have to resort to cheap shots against Gatti or Ortiz to win his fights. They were so far outclassed he could have beat them clean. Likewise, why did he feel he needed a twenty pound weight advantage to beat an older slower smaller Marquez? The distinction I draw in these cases is that it's an advantage completely utilized by one side, which leads to an imbalance, which is worse than if both fighters are using steroids and can meet as equals.

Worst of all are the guys like Luis Resto who take the padding out of gloves or Margarito who loads his up with plaster of Paris. You could really hurt somebody like that and I wouldn't forgive Morales or Holyfield if they got caught doing something like that.
