The thread question is directed to those who feel Floyd will win this fight and not to those who feel Mosley will win.

So does Mosley give a better account of himself against Floyd then Oscar did back in 2007?

i got to believe so...Oscar was throwing alot of unmeanigful shots and jsut trying to steal rounds with terrible flurries and the crowd made Oscar look better than he did.

Mosley has always been a better fighter than Oscar to me....so im leaning towards Mosley but then again you never know....two different styles right?

Yeah right... Mosley needed illegal steroids to eek out a questionable split decision over DLH in 2003. There was nothing wrong with DLH against Mayweather except that he was in there against a smaller, yet more skilled, and faster opponent.

He should looking at it on paper. DLH at that point had slowed quite a bit with his hands and feet while Mosley has lost a fraction of that speed hes still much faster handed and footed then 2007 DLH. A big problem for DLH that night was he couldnt touch Mayweather in the center of the ring. Another big problem was DLHs stamina he fadded midway through the 8th round. Mosley has a long history of showing great stamina even now at an advanced age.

Benny, Floyd fought De la hoya at 154 pounds in which thats the first time ever Floyd fought in that weight class and Floyd have to wear a gloves that he barely use. If Floyd fought De la hoya at 147 pounds the way De la hoya did with Pacquiao, Oscar would lose badly.

DLH slowed down quite a bit my ass. When flurried while Mayweather was in the shell, even though he was missing, his handspeed was fine. He just looked slow compared to Mayweather.

You either haven't seen prime dlh's speed or your slanting this opinion to make Floyd look better. Watch the hopkins fight and compare it to the Mayorga fight for speed difference.

Of course he will be slow compared to Mayweather because Mayweather is the faster fighter. Just go watch even the Mayorga-DLH fight DLH was fast but compare that to the Hopkins fight nearly 2 years prior his hand speed dropped a bit and he no longer had any foot speed which used to be a big asset of his. **** watch Mosley-DLH 1 that was a prime DLH and his speed was blinding that night and so was Mosleys it dropped of in 7 years to even argue that is just dumb. Im not saying DLH was shot or anything but he was past his prime that isnt debatable.

For the record I do think Mosley should do better than DLH as he's been more active, has aged better, and retained much of his speed. What worries me is a lack of a jab.

Exactly, thats why the rematch with Mayweather fell through. Oscar didn't want to drain down to 147 for Mayweather, he propsed a catchweight of 150, and he still wanted the lion's share of the pot even though Mayweather had already beaten him and taken his title. If Mayweather got a dehydrated, weight drained DLH, at 147, he would've beat the brakes off him instead outboxing him like he did at 154.

If anything, Oscar's problem was that he was part fighter/part promoter. I don't really think he lost that much speed. I mean as far as foot speed, you have to remember, that he wasn't trying to box on his toes and cut off the ring. He was simply moving flatfooted, trying to walk Mayweather down.
