Will Mosley test Mayweather's versatility, and if so, how will Mayweather respond?

Did I say it was my dream reality?

It's a question and it's pretty damn objective. If you don't believe that Mosley will test Mayweather's versatility say No.

I don't need some kinda psychological evalutation by a guy in love with another man. I mean ****. What happened to objectivity.

Are mother ****ers just straight gay nowadays?

    I mean what the ****...

Hopefully the next time mayweather cries after a fight, it's because Shane Mosley has cracked his orbital bone and fractured his skull in 6 places.

What do you mean test his versatility? How do you think Mayweather got to where he is today? Mayweather has got to where he is because of versatiltiy. This is a ******ed thread. Now Mosley is going to "test it" like it's some sort of video game? Get real kid.....

Did I ask if other mother ****ers were gonna test his versatility?

Did I ask if Jesus Chavez was gonna test his versatility?

No mother ****er. I asked if MOSLEY was gonna test his versatility.

And then I went further and specified the question. Hey man, you already answered it. Good job. But don't attack the thread starter when the thread starter was bein objective.

That's all I ask. Because honestly, I have my doubts about Mosley's effectiveness from the outside.

However, I think it's a valid question because Mosley stated that he would try boxing Mayweather at times during the fight.

If he has success, Mayweather won't be able to fight his typical fight where he plays the role of the counterpuncher.

He'll have to be aggressive......or he risks losing.

That's all. You don't gotta get emotional. Let your feelings for another man die off. Know what I'm sayin?

How the hell is he going to outbox Floyd Mayweather? This makes no sense.....he will be countered and will lose every second of each round he tries too.

So you have a bigger, stronger guy and now he's going ot outbox Mayweather? LOL...some comedy on these boards

We did both learn the difference between 'are' and 'and' at a young age.

mosley wont be able to avoid the counterpunching mayweather.. he might be able to deal with it but his only chance is be overly aggressive and risk getting countered in a way that might end his night early..

like emanuel stewart said mayweather is most dangerous when he is forced to stand in the pocket and be aggressive...his inside fighting is way under rated

That may be true against his previous opponents, but Mosley's speed, power, body punching ablility and style, may make this a very difficult proposition.

Honestly, I think Mayweather should just stay on the outside and try to stink this one out. If he manages to do that, he'll likely win a UD, but obviously fans will feel slighted with his performance.

But still that gives him the least amount of risk and the highest probablity of winning the fight.

If he fights Shane on the inside, I think he'll be fighting to Shane's strengths.

if he is forced to stand in the pocket with mosley who is known for his looping hooks ......mayweather will give him the beating of his life....just like he did hatton......

and cotto stunk it out and barely but clearly out boxed mosley.....mayweather on the outside wont be stinking it out...this would be the out classing fight that mosley just like odlh previously would no want...

First off lets get one thing right. Mosley doesn't have the same handspeed as PBF. Here's a guy who was routinuely beaten to the punch by Cotto so stop it. If Shane tries to box PBF he will get thoroughly outclassed and shut out he lacks the countereing, jab, footwork and ring IQ to bea able to outbox PBF. His best move would be to use his strength and size advantage to try and rough up and tie up PBF while fouling him in the process. Trying to get into a boxing match with PBF would equal suicide.

Well I thought he pretty much stunk DLH out. He won, but it wasn't a thriller or anything, and I don't think he took the risks that would have capitilized on his peformance given DLH's state of exhaustion.

But he did win, and neither fighter took much punishment.

And it's possible that Mosley will loop his hooks, but I think I see him making improvements with Nazim and finding the range necessary to hurt Mayweather with those punches.
