Will moving up to LWW help improve Amir Khan's punch resistance?

I think it's virtually impossible that moving up a few pounds in weight will make a significant, or even vaugely noticable difference to Khan's punch resistence. Just one of those inevitable facts of life; dude has a glass chin. Obviously, there are certain tactics and techniques that can be used to limit its suscepibility.
