FW is just feeding Mitchell to Murray in order to recoup some of what he lost investing time into him.

a Hard pick when it depends on where someones head is. Its likea diluted version of Ortiz/Berto in that mitchell could beat him i think but does he have his head together. And Ortiz hadnt just been found with a cannibas factory.

People still have this perception that Murray is this monster brawler who breaks peoples heart.

He don't hit hard enough for that to work at a higher level.

If Mitchell is 100% he takes this.

Good comparison. I doubt Mitchell will have the same fire in him that Ortiz did, but he's a much better boxer than Murray.

This is the last time i post about this. Murray is SLOW, ONE-DIMENSIONAL, NO HEAD MOVEMENT, SLOW FEET, SLOW HANDS, WALKS IN STRAIGHT LINES, has fought NO TOP OPPOSITION. Mitchell boxes the **** out of him.

Suddenly Murray is a massive puncher? Who exactly has he knocked out? Mitchell is the better boxer, he proved he can box against Prescott, and has come back from the brink of defeat against Carl Jo. Murray hasnt passed the same tests so far.

Mitchell by a close points margin, 2-3 rounds maybe

He was also a much better boxer than Katsidis.

People point to Mitchell's win over Prescott as evidence of him being able to cope with Murray, but Prescott is a banger, not a real intense pressure-fighter.

The only time I've seen Mitchell in with a pressure fighter anywhere near world level he got taken out when the going got hot. His mind might be in a better place, but that doesn't matter when someone is walking through your punches and throwing back with hurtful ones themselves.

I don't dispute that Mitchell is a better boxer than Murray, but neither of them are what I'd call technicians.

Mitchell is a bit of everything, Murray is a flat footed pressure fighter.

My point is that Mitchell can't stop himself getting into a tear up, against someone with the skills to drag him in. Johanneson did it and nearly stopped him, Katsidis likewise resulting in an early blowout.

I'm certain that Murray is the bigger, stronger, more durable man, and having been more active over a better calibre of opponent in recent years believe he'll win by stoppage at some point after the 6th.

It's worth noting that since 2007/8 Mitchell hasn't been as active, and apart from Katsidis has only fought Johanneson that was any good. Aside from those two there's only a journeyman in Prescott and bums like Mendoza.

I would say Mitchell on points but lets be honest both these fighters are going no where quick.

Just look at Mitchell's fight with Johansson. If Mitchell gasses or gets hurt i cant imagine Kev will survive, Murray is one dimensional but relentless. Kevin has to box smartly if he is too win. I just have a sneaky feeling he is a broken man after Katsidis fight. Should be a quality fight.
