I remember when people were talking about Chocolatito moving up the weights and it didn't happen. Let's see how Inoue does at 122 first. I think he'll be successful at 122 but not as dominant as he has been at 118, and then if he moves up to 126 I see him taking some losses.
You can never really know how fighters will develop as they move up. I'm sure he will win a title at 126. Past that? He would have to be truly abnormally great. He's 5'4.5 and doesn't have a naturally large frame, look how muscular he is at 118. If he keeps getting bigger, naturally or otherwise, I wouldn't be surprised to see him pick up a title at 130. It depends on what he wants at that time and how quickly they move his career now. He has a handful of great fights available at 122, and he should focus on that before he worries about 126.
He's 1 cm shorter than Pacquaio. If you people want to call him the next GOAT maybe wait before he even wins in a second weight division, I've seen people put him over Usyk's accomplishments right now because he can KO in babyweights
He is 29 years old. In 2023 he will be fighting at super bantam weight, I think he will beat at least two top guys there. In 2024 we should see Inoue vs Lara
Hard to know for sure, he was at one time comfortably making 118 but he's clearly out grown that division, he was visibly bigger in the Donaire rematch compared to the first fight. I think he'll definitely go up to 126, maybe even 130. Whether he goes higher than that will come down to his ceiling in terms of ability and if there are lucrative enough fights in the higher divisions to make it worth his while.
