You are underselling Donaire heavily. People forget that he was the heavy underdog against Darchinyan and he KO'd him spectacularly. He's also beaten Montiel (highly regarded at the time), Nishioka, and Narvaez, who are solid fighters. Just because he got taken apart by arguably the greatest amateur and defensive technician doesn't take away his achievements as a champion in 4 weight divisions.
Oh and Naseem has already been inducted in the HOF. Donaire will get in at some point.

Bump. Donaire just beat a good fighter in Ryan Burnett and is on his way to fight Tete, even while way past his prime. Win or lose, Donaire has faced almost everybody and there’s no denying that he’s a first ballot HoFer. ATG is arguable but I think if he were to actually beat Inoue and win the tournament then that would place him in ATG status.

He’s possibly the 2nd greatest Filipino fighter of all time? Who else is in the top 5, Garcia, elorde, espinoza, nietes? I think he has a better resume than the lot.

So he is defined by his losses, not wins?
His resume is pretty solid, but is it good enough? (Of course Rigo and Walters would have enhanced it, but that's besides the point)
