Will ODLH's weight drop result in the same outcome we have seen so often?

RJJ fighting a smaller (according to their usual weights) and vastly inferior fighter got knocked out when he came down.

And we have seen it time and time again. It seems to be easier to go up than go down. Going down it seems they loose the power to cut weight but also keep the (relatively lower) speed they had at the higher weight.

Meanwhile a fighter going up seems to more or less keep his speed (for some fights at least) and put on more power with the added weight.

All in all loose-loose for the guy dropping in weight.

na i dont thinks so de la hoya will come 3 pounds less than from his last bout

rjj came back from heavyweight to light heavyweight

so no, it will not be a weight factor for de la hoya

Works both ways, If your going up 1 division from your usual weight, then its understandable. You lose agility and speed, maybe add power to your punches. But jumping 2 divisions is as risky.

He only needs about 4 rounds or so to soften Pac up before he blows him out.

I think so. Being young and losing the weight is one thing. Jones and Dlh were/are 34 years and older when they had to lose this weight. It spelled doom for Jones because he had to lose weight and muscle. His body was never the same. Dlh will say he feels good, but he will feel the effects once the fight comes around. Taking away from your body does something rather than giving something to your body unless you are over weight of course. I still think PAc is just going to be stronger and faster anyway. Pac ko in 9.

Well, 3 or 4 pounds isn't that much.
DLH was 150 (151 as KingChile says) for his bout with Forbes, so I don't see him getting "drained".
I doubt it will play a huge role like some think.

No, that is my opinion. You know a smuggler quoted your post right:rofl ? lol. This is my opinion and I'm standing by it:bbb PAc is going to come like a cyclone, and once Dlh has to ask his body to respond, it's over. Pac ko in 9...watch.

Oscar started his pro career at 130, 147 is really no problem for him.

I think if anything, he'll be even faster and quicker. He was fighting on is toes against Forbes for most of the fight, something he seldom did against PBF. He looked lighter, fresher, and faster against Forbes. It's just going to make him that much better IMO.

DLH did get tagged quit a bit but he also landed plenty of good shots. He was fighting a very crafty and slick fighter. But he was fighting on his toes which is a good sign for him and also using the jab. Bad signs for DLH is when he's standing flat footed and not using the jab.

Your avy always kills me Hahahahahahahahahaha:rofl Anyway, Forbes is not an aggressive fighter. Floyd made Dlh use energy, Forbes didn't. Pac will make Dlh use energy, and he is going to try to put hurt on Dlh. Dlh will fight a smart fight, but imo he will not be the strong Dlh we are used to seeing. I think Pac is just going to be too much.
