Floyd places his shots which will do more damage than Bertos even though Berto appears stronger and to hit harder than Floyd.
But I think the Disrespecting his opponents power approach works well for his style so if I am his coach I am telling him to go after him and make it a high paced fight as he did with Berto see if Floyd can keep up the entire night like that.

Ask yourself when is the last time Floyd has been in a fight on the pace that Berto and Ortiz was.... you havent since he moved up from 135 meaning Floyd is comfortable slowing down the fight and making it a pot shot festival keep it your game plan and you may have better results

They all say floyd doesn't have power...then they all end up fearful of his counters when the fight gets going.

Mayweather may not have Julian Jackson power but he's clearly no power puff hitter.
He hits hard enough. Ortiz will respect it

Floyd has good pop. I don't understand why people always think that you can just walk through his shots. That right hand will have plenty of sting. Towel comes in around the 11th. Believe that!

No and he doesn't have to. What he needs to respect is the fact that he cannot have success landing his follow up shots to Floyd counters if his aggression has him falling over his front foot and off balance. He needs to stay on balance, pressure, and keep his shots short and tight.

If he does that I think all of you nooks will be really surprised what, youth, adequate speed, and good power can actually do for you.

One problem I see, in the brief clips of Ortiz sparring, he was falling over his front foot and being too aggressive just like in the berto fight. I don't think Floyd stops him, not at all. But if Ortiz doesn't correct that he will have long night.

Thats what I have been saying he over committs So I expect Uppercuts from Floyd in this fight to be the showing shots, in other words we may see more Right Uppercut left hooks from Floyd than ever before.
However as a southpaw Ortiz does turn that left over into a hook and the way Floyd likes to bend to get under the straight shot of Ortiz turns that over into a hook Floyd may bend right into it...

I have a feeling this is going to be a much better fight than People think I support Ortiz to win the fight, want him to win the fight, But Mayweather is a tall order

    Yes

When your coming forward and not hitting your target because your target isnt there , then your being jabbed or hit with a right hand every time , you have to respect that , and thats what Floyd does , so while Floyd may not hit him with any 1 shot that will KO him (unless Ortiz gets absolutley reckless) he will respect Floyds accuracy and timing by the end of the fight yes

Well you have sort of answered your own question there

While Ortiz stays on balance and throws 2's and 3's Floyd still outpoints him , so at some point he'll have to step out and over commit , and he will do this often , often enough for Floyd to hit him with solid counters
