    there was still alot of will in durans perfirmance, he had to come back and win last 4 rounds with a kd in the end, gil clancy refered to it as a miracle, and al bernstein agreed

    You're right on except for the first one. Mosely's skill level was and is miles ahead of Margarito's, therfore the result of their fight was a case of skill over will, or better yet, it was skill AND will over cheating.

    As I already said, brainfart. I meant Margarito/Cotto.

    Other examples would be Willard/Johnson, Saman Sorjaturong/Humberto Gonzalez, Castro/John David Jackson, Charles Brewer/Herol Graham.

    How does it make it different than other sports? What does "will" just register higher in boxing? That's nonsense.

    Because being beaten until your liver bleeds in a sport with the highest death rate in history sports history bar none taxes your will more then any other sport, and is therefore the ultimate litmus test of willpower in sports.

    Are you even remotely doubting that boxing is the hardest sport in the world? Or can you name another sport where men are beaten to death with another mans fists?

    maybe Duran vs Leonard I can apply. Both were extra skilled fighters, but SRL had a lot of advantages and had the perfect style to beat him, but Duran wanted it more.

    I personally think Duran also outboxed him that fight aswell...he just used a different skill set.
