Even if Pac beats MAB then JMM later this year, he only gets #2 spot if PBF beats Hatton. But next year if Pac beats Guzman, he will tie up with PBF at the top spot.
Hell, no. With the great matchups shaping up within the year, the mythical P4P lists will be in for a long overhaul.
In my mind yes but hardly anyway has Marquez at number 2 like I do p4p. I have him their cause I think his overall body of work is just as good as Pacquiaos with guys like Mark Johnson,Silence Mabuza,Tim Austin,Israel Vasquez and the fact I find him as a better fighter p4p then Pacquiao he seems more polished and better techniqually.
I got him #4 and definitely within shouting distance of #1 with a couple of more good wins. His overall body of work is overlooked. Beating Johnson and Austin in their primes are two highly impressive wins.
For Pac to become #1, PBF needs to lose to whoever his fighting. Pac needs to do what he did to EM on their 3rd fight.
I think he needs to do it to someone he hasn't already done it too. Preferrably another champion in their prime. He can do it, but he isn't fighting them.
It is not up to Pacquiao, it is up to Floyd, because when he beats Hatton his rating is going to skyrocket.
hmm... so who becomes the rightful #1 p4p if pbf loses to hatton in Dec? i'm assumming that pac beats barrera in Oct.
Barerra still a stop 10 p4p fighter? what are u smoking???? NO ESTEEMED BOXING WRITER HAS HAD MAB IN THE TOP 10 P4P FOR A WHILE! And no, he'll never beat Marquez, thats why there is no rematch...he knows hes getting too old so he's only fighting the one fight he can get up for...but it's too little too late. PAcquaio gets nothing from me for beating Barerra at this stage of his career.
Pac is already No 1 in my book for the long time, since he Koed Morales. Among the P4p entrant, Pac is consistently the one who overwhelms & Destroy a HOFamers or P4P fighters. Even his former Sparring Partner since his 122 days Vasquez KOed the #3 P4P Rafa Marquez. Everybody knows Pac just toyed with Vasquez in sparring. This Just show how Pac was above the rest.
