Will Pac fans cry bloody murder if he loses a close points decision?

Lets say its an obvious 8-4/9-3 win to Mayweather aka Maidana 1...

Will Pac fans claim he was robbed and cooked?

I think they will, they will grasp onto anything their grubby little hands can get hold of.

    Discuss.

You think Floyd fans will be any different if it happened the other way?

What do you think? If Mayweather knocks Pac out cold they will swear that Mayweather is on peds and that the fight should not count. They refuse to give Marquez any credit and they somewhat like him. You can imagine the reaction to a Mayweather win.

They are already making excuses for a Pacquiao loss. They don't even have any faith in Manny. Some "fans" they are.

There are some who are sticking by Manny, but many are prepping the excuse train already.

I'm a Pac fan and I'll sleep like a baby if he loses on points (I'll wake up every two hours and cry). Seriously, I am a Pac fan but I have a problem with the way you worded the question. You asked if we would cry if our man lost on close points but then you went on and said "8-4" or "9-3" that's not super close to me. It will all depend on the fight. I really hope it's not controversial. I hope it's clear. I didn't have a good feeling in my stomach when Pacman beat JMM in number 3 because I wasn't convinced. The only other thing I don't want to happen is for Pac to rush into a flush right (JMM-style) and be out in the first round.

Yes i think it would be different. If Floyd loses then you know he hadnt paid the judges. Floyd fights for the points win, Pac fights for the knockout. Floyd is more effective in his style.

Floyd fans would obviously be backpedaling to some degree but Pac fans have been more vocal in their hatred for Floyd; They also have made bolder statements which means more ground to back pedal. So yes, i think whoever wins would succumb to alternative scrutiny

When i say Pac fans, Im not including everyone. Just the moronic, outspoken, armchair warriors who feel the need to spread their negativity or hatred for another man publicly behind a false facade. It makes you dislike sport when vocal idiots are the representation.

I am a fan of both pac and may for very different reasons. I hope the outcome is clear as well. However when i said 8-4/ 9-3, those were fights aka May vs Judah/Maidana/ODLH/Cotto where there is an excuse to be made that Mays opponents scored more than 3 rounds. In a Mayweather fight.... that is close!

Well said. As a boxing fan, how can you not like Pac? It's some of his rabid fans that makes you root against him.

Because you don't have to be a fan of a specific fighter to like boxing. I hate the Seahawks but I'm still a football fan. I hate the Bulls even when Jordan was on it but I still liked basketball.

Of course they will. Any time there's a close points victory, someone is crying bloody murder.
