Will Pacquiao be able to fight going backwards?

He may have to retreat though and give ground especially in the early rounds because hatton will just cut the ring off, with his footwork which his underrated.

 

Remember how terrible Pac's balance was when he fought Morales??? PAc would attack, become off balance and basically back pedal until Morales cornered him. Well, his balance is tons better now, and now Pac knows how to turn guys, and let those fast hands go. Pac won't have to go looking for Hatton. This type of fight is right up Pac's alley. I see Pac shining from start to finish, and finishing Hatton in about 8 or even less. Pac can fight going backwards, the question imo is can Pac fight inside. I think he can fight backwards and inside when he has to.

I think Pac has this aspect covered. Im sure that Pac won't be going straight back but instead in angles where he will have just enough space to land some nasty uppercuts and body shots and make Hatton think twice about bullying Pacquiao. I think that if Hatton can get Pacquiao against the ropes he's good but if hatton is forced to fight in the center of the ring he is toast. Either way it should be a hell of a fight

 

The big question i think what needs answering apart from rihanna being well developed. Is can pac handle hatton on the inside because if he struggles then it could be a long night for him.

if he does not go backwards that is not the only way to beat him, Hatton can fight fire with fire, which will help Hatton more than Ricky being the bigger man, or Hatton can and probably will try out some of them newer boxing skills he is picking up from Sr, which will throw a Manny and Roach for a loop if they didnt plan for this.

One fighter is training to stay center ring, and avoid body shots, and use his great offense to keep the other guy defensive all the time...and the other fighter is training to use a power jab to get inside, and use defense and body punching along with a big left hook to wear down his opponent.
