He won't be going backwards too much (though he will sometimes). There will be loads of lateral movement, and he'll be going forward at times too - his arsenal is enough to back any fighter around those weights up.

If you're not gonna bet on PACMAN, I suggest you don't bet, Bill. I warned you before against DLH(?). :hat

This will be a tough fight for Pac, not a cake walk for either fighter.

    i second the motion.
where the hell is finito getting this stuff? pac does not know how to fight going backwards, 5 years ago.

but his lateral movements, defenses when moving backwards is way too good now. look at how he stopped morales in his tracks in the 3rd fight going backwards.

hattons so called ability to cut off the ring is not fool proof, after all the ring is a good size area big enough for pac to pop in and out. left to right and going backwards when the need arises.

and to top that, floyd said pac throws like an amatuer and pac's punches can only hit amateurs...so pac has been beating amateurs in mab, morales etc....

Pac does not need to fight backwards. All he has to do move towards Hatton's right and throw his right jab and left straight combos. His speed and footwork will do it for him.

Well, his balance is tons better now, and now Pac knows how to turn guys, and let those fast hands go. Pac won't have to go looking for Hatton. This type of fight is right up Pac's alley. I see Pac shining from start to finish, and finishing Hatton in about 8 or even less. Pac can fight going backwards, the question imo is can Pac fight inside. I think he can fight backwards and inside when he has to.

I am starting to get the feeling that pac is gonna get a 'big win'. Nallege makes a good point though, can pacquiao fight on the inside? Ive always seen pacquiao as quite a clean fighter who likes his space to get off fast, hard combinations. Even if you cant compare hatton to diaz you, that fight does give you clues about pacquiaos abilities on the inside. To me he was clinching extremely effectively in that fight, and always keeping diaz off balance to stop him setting his feet to throw anything hurtful. pacquiao has too many advantages over hatton. Hatton is essentially relying on the assertion that he is the bigger stronger fighter with the better chin. He is also relying on pacquiao not being able to handle that strength and being hurt by his punches. The questions then arises, what if pacquiao takes the strength out of the equation by effective clinching and moving and deters hattton from throwing those bombs by punishing him. Ive said this before and ill will say it again, the previous P4P 1 hatton faced knocked him out, this one is going to beat him to a pulp.:!:

why Pac fight going backward? It's not his style and there's no need for him to do that. He can mix it up frontally with lots of moves. Hatton will be the one who will back off, i guess!

I see Pacquiao timing Hatton on the way inside then move to his side and giving him different angles as much as he can.
