Will Pacquiao Become No.1 ATG if he beats Marquez,Diaz,Hatton and Retires?

If he beats JMM, Diaz and Hatton he will be top 25 ATG. in every worthwhile list so joe schmoe could have him ranked 99 and no one would give a ****. You get the drift?

 

And hilarious enough, all of the Welter's he listed out KO him in 3, Hatton included. I think Diaz TKO's him also, easily.

 

Well that's the "at least partially". I know we differ on the unspoken opinion he has on the chances Pacquiao has on winning any of the 3 fights after JMM that would move him that high.

 

Without looking directly at my list (im at work) I think I had him at 15 + or - a spot or two

 

Why do you ask? The reason he is around 15 atg is because he beat other atgs in Duran, Hearns, and Hagler. Those three have resumes that dwarf Marquez, Diaz, and Hatton. So tell me again how he cracks top ten atg status???

SRL at 17 or so. Pacquiao not in the top 50 off beating JMM, Diaz, and Hatton. On just those wins alone, this is what his accomplishement would read.

4 Division Lineal Champion (112, 122, 130, 140) with Ring titles at 126 and possibly 135 making him a 6 division titlist.

He would have beaten 2 ATG, and at least a borderline ATG in JMM.

Compare that to SRL's accomplishments and resume. I haven't added Mayweather because you didn't comment on his ranking definitively if he beat him. How would that not rate Pacquiao top 50?

Now I don't believe a single one of the fights after JMM is more than 10% winnable for Pacquiao. But your response was to what was said, not what was possible.

Top 10 would be including a win over Mayweather. That would make Pacquiao a 5 division Lineal champion (No one has more than 3) and have wins over 3 ATG's potentially 4 ATG. Hw would be a 7 division titlist off those wins as well. IF (and he won't) he pulled that off, that compares favorably to SRL, Duran, and Hagle in the modern era.

 

PAC should get the recognition for fighting bigger fighters even if he loses just like Duran did. Losing to Hearns, Hagler, Benitez helped Durans claim to greatness more than it hurt it

 

I should have been more careful with my words. He might fall 40-50 on my list,,,it depends on how Hatton and Diaz finish off their careers

Look I think PBF beats PAC but other than that I want to see PAC beaten first because frankly...he keeps on winning
