Hell NO! He'd be a legit ATG but not #1 all time.

I don't think he should...I don't think he'll beat hatton either but Hatton isn't the kind of fighter even if he is much larger that would secure the most sacred title in boxing...the "ALL TIME GREAT" status are left to the VERY best boxing has produced and I think Pac can be mentioned with the ATG if he beats the 3 you mentioned and be pretty high up, but you have guys like Pep, Armstrong, Robinson, Ali ect.ect. that have a home on this list...being #1 is really a strectch.

I see him beating all of them except for Hatton....the weight would be too much...but it's pretty clear to me that he'll not only beat Marquez but Diaz as well. They just don't have the kind of natrual ability, talent and will that Pac has shown us and the weight from 130 to 135 isn't as bad as it would be jumping 10 pounds to the 140 division.

LOL...So JMM, MAB and EM must be some MAJOR ****. They all were beaten by this fighter you call overrated and a peice of ****.:rofl :rofl When JMM and PAC meet again Pac will win again. This time I doubt it will go the distance.

Diaz is a good young fighter but c'mon now! Who has he really beaten? Aclino? The brazilian "no Mas" guy! David? Decent but not a great fighter and won't ever be consides as such.

Pac has very little problems beating Marquez and a little more difficulty in beating Juan but both will be "W" for Pac.

That last piece of info isn't accurate. Pacquiao will have trouble with JMM. He already had problems with him. And as for him beating Juan Diaz....what does who Diaz has beaten already have to do with him beating Pacquiao? Probably the same thing it has to do with who Pacquiao had beaten before beating Barrera. Absolutely nothing. And I think Juan Diaz has proven to be a little more than a good young fighter. He has unified nearly every belt in his division....don't downplay his wins.

I know he had problems with JMM in the past....but he still won that fight. And even though JMM should TREMENDOUS heart and determination...not to mention AWESOME boxing skills...he still fell short. And that was 4 yrs ago against a very one demensional PAC.

Today....PAC is still very unorthodox but has MANY more weapons...He's still as fast and he's not not only in his prime but has a **** load of Championship level experience agaisnst the very best. The fighter that JMM faught to a BOGUS draw last time will not be facing that same fighter. JMM is the same in all aspects expect for the part that he is older now.

Who diaz has beaten is a GREAT guage to put this fight in to the correct perspective. This is completely true. A boxers most important thing is to fight! And to fight as often as possible agaisnt the best. Even if you fight a better fighter...in loosing you gain a tremendous amount of knowledge, experience and craft! PAC has constantly been in there with the VERY best his division has to offer. He is getting better and learning with every fight.

Juan has shown he is great student to the science of boxing and ever improving. He is stepping up and doing well. But he hans't faced ANYONE even remotely on the level of a EM, JMM, PAC or MAB! His experience is VERY limited and in order to beat not only a more experienced fighter but a better fighter over all he has to have some great equalizer to stand a chance....A great equalizer can be POWER! or a tremendous amount of Boxing skills and talent. Juan has neither. He has a champions heart and a Champions Will. That IMO won't be enough to beat PAC. He needs more time and experience before stepping up 2 or 3 levels to PAC.

I'm not saying that just b/c Diaz hasn't beaten anyone of note doesn't mean he has no chance! There is a HUGE difference between a fighter like PAC and a fighter like Juan. PAC has been blessed with GREAT natrual gifts like Floyd Mayweather and Roy Jones Have. These gifts are not evident in Juan and that will be the deciding factor not only in the JMM fight but also the Juan Diaz fight. Hatton is just too damn BIG.

For Pacquiao to become the GREATEST OF ALL TIMES, he needs to beat the following:

    Marquez
    Guzman
    Katsidis
    Valero
    Diaz
    Gamboa
    Hatton
    De La Hoya
    Mayweather

I don't know about the rest of you, but I think it's unlikely he does that:lol:

I think you are overestimating Pacquiao.....

First, he has not been blessed with physical gifts comparable to Jones. Outside of Pacquiao's biggest fans, no one would agree to that.

Second, when Pacquiao beat MAB, he had been in with no one on the level or even close to Barrera. Ledwaba was not in that league. He simply wasn't. Not all lineal champs are created equal. It did not stop him from winning. Many fighters take big steps up and win, so it's selling Diaz short to think he is incapable of doing the same. Pacquiao isn't 2 or 3 levels above him. He is far more accomplished, but there are not many pressure fighters/swarmers with Diaz's handspeed, chin, and stamina around right now. World champions don't quit on their stool for no reason. Pacquiao is the next level up from Diaz, who has proven to be an elite LW. When you take the titles from 2 of the champions by making them quit, you earn that status.

Third, I am not buying any of the bogus draw stuff. Scoring error or not, that fight was ridiculously close, and JMM won more rounds. If anyone fell short, it would be the guy who scored 3KD's in the first round, then ended up letting it get close enough to be called a draw in the first place. It's very easy to lay it at JMM's feet that he fell short, but it's easy to see that Pacquiao did as well. Pacquiao doesn't have ALOT more weapons going into this fight. I even picked Pacquiao by KO in this fight, but that's an exxageration to say he has alot more skill now. He has more weapons surely, and is a better fighter, more versatile. But he also is slightly slower and doesn't hit quite as hard. So is JMM for that matter. But JMM is more versatile too, and has fought better fighters than he had coming into that fight. So you are going to see 2 different fighters in there.

If you feel Pacquiao will have an easy time with JMM and Juan Diaz, more power to you. I think that's off by quite a bit.

no.1 ATG i think that's asking too much. I'm a big PAC fan too but i just don't see that happening even if he beats all these names being mentioned as possible opponents. He could be no.1 ATG asian fighter(if he isn't yet)? no.1 ATG in his division, maybe but the problem with PAC is he has not and will not stay in one division for a prolonged period of time. As for the PAC haters, if you think PAC is not that great then MAB and EM is not that great too. Boxing experts will agree that PAC won't be an overwhelming favorite against Juan Diaz(probably a 4to3 favorite) and will be the underdog against the hitman but at the same time they will also agree that he can pull it off. When everything has been said and done PAC will be an ATG, not no.1 though top30 maybe.
