Id call it quits what does he have left to prove and all these fights cant be good for you long term.

2nd best fighter of a generation. Winner of multiple titles . Sensational victories and rivalry's with Morrales and JMM.

Guys a legend retire and call it a career very few will come as close to being as successful in the ring

Nah, only back to the drawing board. Needs to work on a number of things, honestly. I think he was exposed as a one-dimensional fighter by you-know-who...

I dont think hes THAT small anymore. He was 152 against Floyd which is a lot for a Jww. .. he hasn't fought at 140 since Hatton (?)..that was 6 years ago. Cutting weight at an old age is a recipe for disaster.

i hope not. the competition is at 147 unless he decides to take it easy for retirement. he is still competitive for the big boys even his power may not be enough to knock them out. if fans want him to ko his opponent then ask him to go down at his natural weight at 140.

If no rematch with Floyd, then 100%. You may even see him go down to 135.

I'd come back for one more to walk away with a W and try to remove a bit of the stain from May 2nd and what happened afterwards. Maybe Berto or Jessie Vargas or someone like that.

But no. He is not going down to 140 pounds. He only fought there once ever as a pit stop between 35 and 47 and that was over 6 years ago.

Yeah, I'm going with that angle myself. I think that he would be hard pressed to defeat an elite fighter now because Mayweather has given them the blueprint and they were definitely taking notes. He can still look good and win against good fighters and that should be his exit strategy, Put on a good show with a good fighter and move on to the business of being a congressman.

Id rather Pac just retire.... but if he goes back to 140 tons of good fights for him. Problem is Haymon controls most of them.

    Pac vs Ruslan
    Pac vs Matthysse
    Pac vs Crawford

Are the type of fights that are available without Al Haymons gang, and I just don't know why put Pac through those kind of fights at this stage of his career at a weightclass he has no obligations in.

But, since he will probably keep fighting til boxing chews him up completely and spits him out, I expect Pac and his fans to have a few more tough nights in front of him regardless of weightclass.

But yes, a return to 140 would be ideal for him right now.
