this is a valid point, and here in lies the problem.

what are your expectations, because wll tell you mine.

pacman will beat margo from pillar to post in a brutally onesided ass kicking.

pac is the number 1 boxer in our sport. margo has been irrelevant for a long time now, and hasnt had a decent victory in 2 years. he got the sht kicked out of him by mosley.

i find it hard to imagne pac can exceed expectations, unless he actually decaptates margo wth the first jab he throws.

In fairness it depends on how Margarito looks and how much he makes Pac work for the win. Pac gets very little credit for Clottey, because he looked like a guy who was just there for a payday

Any win gets you credit. The question is how much. It won't be in the top 5 of his best wins. Better than Clottey or Diaz in my opinion though.

    MAB I
    Cotto
    Hatton
    JMM II
    Morales II
    (JMM I)
    ODLH
    Margo

I expect to see Marg and PAC in a competitive war in the begining...both going toe to toe where I see the speed of Manny allowing him to control the fight. by the mid rounds I see PAC taking over the fight and beating Marg soundly until the final bell.

But....I can see Marg catching PAC or hurting him if Manny makes a mistake. with his style Manny is very vunerable. He throws a lot which means he's open a lot. He'll have to be constantly moving to avoid getting caught cold by Marg.

Getting a KO within 8 in my opinion is a pipe dream. If PAC manages that....then in my opinion he exceeded my expectations.

Why should he? Mayweather would not deserve any credit for fighting Margarito either.

wow you dont rate pac as highly as i do then. margo hasnt been in a compettve war for 2 years now, i see him doing nothing against the best boxer in the world.

kayo 8 is very real, i expect kayo 4-6. pac will smash him around until either his chin cracks again, or the ref calls it off.

i will be amazed if margo has any success.

which is why i wont gve pac much credit.

Yeah it's a better win than the Diaz fight. But Clottey is the better win.

and same Cotto LOST to PAC.

That's the more or less the complete story

and you know why Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, all guys Mayweather could have fought when Manny was still a Superfeather yet May didnt have the balls to and here comes Pac mowing and challenging em all. you just cant deny that.

margo would probably be favourite over all of Pacs other opponents anyway LOL

pac fights big challenges again and again and he kills them

I'd give Floyd credit for fighting Margo. Margo at his best would be a tough matchup for Floyd.

He'll get credit for a "win", from me. That's about where it ends. First of all, Rockgloves is the bigger plodder of this generation. He's slow of foot, slow of fist, and was knocked senseless over a year ago just as he was caught cheating. To cap it off, he's being pulled/drained down to 151lbs. Nah, this is nothing to get hyped up over. It's a "win", that's all. This fight isn't even mildly competitive.

margo anytme between the first cintron fight and the mosley fight would be a good name on anyones resume.

but that was 2 years ago. floyd fightng him now would mean nothing unless he did beat pac, which he wont.

It's not that I don't rate PAC as highly as you might...it's the fact that in boxing STYLES make fights. And sometimes the BEST fighter has difficult with a more limited fighter based on the stylistic match up.

Margs style would seem to be a great fit for PAC but its the SIZE and strength difference that will make the differece.

If PAC was more defensive mind like Floyd....He could easily box circles around Marg and out point him. But you and I both know PAC bangs! He'll put himself in risky situations testing his ability over the physically bigger man and that's wehre I see Marg having some of his success.
