Will Paquiao get any credit if he beats Margarito

It would have been an average win for Floyd even when Rockgloves was at his "peak". Now I wouldn't support the fight even a tiny bit. It'd do nothing for Floyd's legacy.

 

styles make fights but speed kills and pac is like a buzzsaw. do envision a brutal beatdown.

your version would make it more exciting so hopefully it will be, but i doubt it.

Is Tony's chin really that cracked or is Shane still the strongest WW in the division? You can't say Margarito's chin is gone and then go and say Shane is the strongest. If you fight the strongest guy in the division, it's hard to not get knocked out, no matter how strong your chin is. I have that fight, Shane loaded up on hayemakers and continually smashed Margarito but it took him 27 minutes of wailing on him before he floored him (knocked him down, not stunned him) the first time.

You also can't say Margo is **** because Mosley and P Will beat him because you're discreditng the both of them. I can understand if Mosley and Williams were shitty fighters, but they aren't.

Seriously. You guys are tripping over yourselves to say why this fight doesn't matter or do anything for Pacquiao, but most of the ones saying that **** have already been vocal in how much they don't like Manny, so why does your opinion count? Don't give me that generic "I'm a fan of boxing" crap, because if you were you'd be subjective about people's losses. If you lose to a good fighter, it's because he was a good fighter, not entirely because you're a **** fighter.

 

Whilst I think Pac is a favourite he should get credit for beating Margarito. It will be interesting to see just how he goes about the job.

 

ive never said i dont like pacman. i dont really like his catchweight fights but its not like he does it all the time, or even most of the time so i can live with it.

pac is clearly the best we have right now.

as for mosley, well i believe mosley cracked his chin definitely, but he aint the hardest hitting WW, i actually think pac hits harder than shane.

and as for the williams fight, that was years ago. margo has done nothing for 2 years.

so to pick, i think margo is not a top 15 fighter in any division, and i fully expect pacman to smash him to bits.

 

He should get a certain amount of credit because he`s still beating a much bigger man but not too much... not many expect Margo to win & thats how it should be looked at post fight.

 

I'm torn between Margarito winning this, but I remember how Manny has brutalised his last few bigger opponents in stlye. Margarito has a small chance, but a chance none the same.

I don't think Pac hits harder than Shane, that WOULD lend credence to him being on something and I 100% feel he isn't. Margo lost a decision to P Will who has a much longer reach than Marg. I got a copy of the Cotto-Margo fight so I could finally watch it and was surprised that HBO had Margo's arm length as the same as Cotto's. Seemed fairly short to me but Paul has a pretty good workrate so I can believe him outslugging him.

 

ye i dont think shane is completely shot, but i dont think he is the hardest puncher around.

i do think pac hits harder then shane, whether that is due to force or speed is another queston tho.

 

Margo at his best couldn't hit Floyd with rice at a wedding.:rofl

The only credit he gets is in that he will have beat cotto ,margarito and clottey 3 guys mayweather was too ****** to have risked his 0 against.

Other than that it is a truly pointless fight against a guy who hasnt done nothing for 2 years and was Ko'd last by a guy mayweather destroyed
