Parker (a former titlist with 2 defences) has beat these fighters: Takam, Ruiz, Hughie and Chisora x2, all by competitive/controversial decisions

Parker has not stopped any of his 11 best opponents, including Cojanu (three 2nd round KO losses, to Dennis, Ortiz and Dubois), Fa (KO’d in 114 seconds by 43 year old Browne) and Massey (career cruiserweight)

Parker has lost to these fighters: Joshua, Whyte and Joyce by KO11

Parker is trained by Lee (who served as a cornerman for Fury in Wilder 2 and Wilder 3) and is close friends with Fury, who will provide Parker with intel on how to beat Wilder

Wilder is 38, has been KO’d twice in his last three fights (suffering six KD’s) and has contested one round in the previous 26 months

So surely Parker (a top 5 win on Joshua’s fabled résumé, which this forum allegedly believes is the best around bar none by a 56-47 margin) should do far better than the likes of Szpilka, Washington and Molina, all of whom took Wilder several rounds and had some success before getting KO’d?

    Will he?

Maybe but he keeps getting recycled because he throws feather dusters. Is now a gate keeper.

No. He'll win a couple rounds then get sparked out worse than Joe Joyce sparked him

If by better you mean, not being carried out on a stretcher, then probably yes.

Szpilka was stretchered but Washington was stopped on his feet after getting dropped once and Molina went down four times before he stayed down.

It has more to do with how Wilder shows up then how Parker shows up.

With the inactivity it is hard to tell.

If it’s the Wilder of old then no Parker will not do better.

If he goes for it, gets inside and throws for the KO, I give him a chance of getting the upset.
If he tries to box and move like normal, I guess he gets caught and KO'd at some stage.

NEET, If Parker does ‘significantly better’ than Spilz and Washington, he will beat the one trick pony - given the fact that both Spilz and Washington were beating Wilder before they were stopped.

Hell, Spilz hurt Wilder with a jab :risas3:

Parker, as basic as he is, has every chance of beating Wilder in stunning fashion. But that more speaks to how one dimensional Wilder is and how shallow his resume is.

But no, I believe Parker is spent. He made his money and will come out plodding like usual, have a couple of competitive rounds with a wilder that’s worried about getting hit. Parker will become over confident in the 3rd round and likely gets sparked out. His chin is not what it once was and he’s not fussed about losing at this point of his career.

Feel free to reply to me on any 5 of your alts accounts :eaea:

Wilder is due to knock someone through the ropes and clean out of the ring.

It's possible, hes a good puncher and is fundamentally a better boxer all around than Wilder. If he can take Wilders biggest punch and not go down, he can pull off the upset. My thing with Wilder is how much rust he has and if his chin is still durable after the Fury fights. We will see.

    It could go either way.

-Parker is a guy who is legitimately 1-1 against Derrick Chisora. He was always limited, and really seems to have lost interest.

    However...

-Wilder is a career fraud who has won one fight in four years, and that was a dodgy affair against Sugar Bob Helenius.

If Wilder beats Parker, it will be head and shoulders the best win on his resume.

If Parker beats Wilder, it will not be the best on his resume. That would be Ruiz.

I say Parker gets it together for one big fight and retires the dim-witted wrapper wannabe.
