Other way around homeboy. Dawson was chasing Hopkins for YEARS and Hopkins refused to even entertain an offer, said he wasn't enough of a name.

The argument that Dawson ducked Diaconu (which is also ludicrous, considering they actually signed to fight and Diaconu pulled out) has more validity.

Also, Donaire hasn't been with Gary Shaw since the Darchinyan fight. IMO, wins over Sidorenko, Mthalane and Martinez are about on par with wins over Diaconu x2 and Branco. I'll agree with you that most of the rest of the guys he's faced have stunk. When guys records are that close for me, then I start to look more at how they actually performed in the ring, and Donaire has clearly been more dominant than Pascal.

X 2 (Big time on the Hopkins part, that is common knowledge. Hopkins and Calzaghe both ran hardcore from a Dawson fight.)

I actually value the Sidorenko win more than anything Pascal has done other than Dawson. I also think that Mthalane and Martinez are legit wins, whereas others say his whole resume other than Vic is garbage.

Probably got to go Pascal TD 11 Dawson, however that fight is SUPER gay. Pascal is a slapper similar to Calzaghe vs. Hopkins, an air puncher currently unmatched, a hometown fighter similar to Ward, and got one of the biggest ass beatings in a single round that didn't feature a knockdown all year in the 11th... When he dipped chin down when they made mutual in motions to angle his forehead near Dawson's eye sockets. It was not intentional in terms of DQ worthy, but these guys are elite pro boxers who've been doing this since they were 6-ish. He knew what he was doing with his head.

Pascal was beating his ass for 7-8 rounds... You can not deny that...

Honestly, dawson has gotten away with some questionable hometown decisions himself, so I dont really give a **** IMO

cmon sidrenko was a feather fisted paper champ, who had hometown robberies a few times in europe. He is NOTHING special....

Dawson priced himself out of the BHOP fight.... Instead he chose to fight Tarver and Johnson(who beat him)
