hell even before that question is the question of when paul has ever fought a pressure fighter w/ pav's power who has knocked every fighter out at his weight class put in front of him including the former undisputed champ.

williams is a dangerous man and he shouldnt be underestimated at all and i don't think pav's camp will do that b/c that would be very very stupid...but...having said that,

camp williams would be best to forget that pav ever fought bhop. i say this, and have batted this around the usual suspects on this board, b/c it appears that so many people have forgotten just how devastating pav has been at mw simply b/c of what happened at lhw against an atg and hof'er. pav has never had an opponent at mw hear the final bell and some of those mw's that he blew out hit him w/ shots harder than anything williams can throw at this point of his career. with so much riding on this fight for both fighters, i don't think camp williams should be so naive to think they can trade w/ a guy who has knocked everyone out put in front of him at mw, and who they can't knock out.

Same scenario as Rubio, once he felt KP's power it was only a matter of time.

Absolutely! With Smoger in there Paul will get the chance to take a proper beating.

Pav beat your hero AM up, and PAv looked terrible against Rubio. I expect PAv to pick up his game though as motivation is always the key. PW will not change his style. He does not look to go toe to toe. PW is a man who jabs, turns, jabs, gives distance, bangs a 1-2 and moves...etc.

The question is can PW hurt Pav, or gain his respect? That is the biggest question concerning this fight. AM respected PW too much, so what happens if PAv is getitng hit a lot? PW is faster than PAv no doubt, and you never know how speed affects a guy. This is a sperb fight. If PAv can disregard the speed difference, and time PW, fight over, if he can't fight over.

Pav aims his shots. He doesn't have a slick bone in his body, but his jab can dictate what shots he wants to throw. PAv's jab is the key to him winning this fight imo...

If it doesn't he's getting KTFO. I don't see anything in his arsenal to keep Kelly off him. If he's able to tighten up his defense and keep Kelly at bay with a jab there's a chance. I'm rooting for the upset but this might be too big of a mountain to climb for the Punisher. But big props to Paul for taking such a dangerous unnecessary challenge. That boy got balls of steel.

October 3rd, Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. It will air in the states on HBO's World Championship Boxing. I have no idea about the UK.

There is a fairly slim possibility that Sky will show it. If not, ESPN might.

If not, we'll have to resort to the internet. :fire

I really hope you do not have to watch this on some shitty internet stream! This is going to be a dog fight: The Pit Bull verses The Doberman! I want you to be able to see every last detail of what happens when a Pit Bull gets ahold of a doberman's throat:yep

It's shaping up that way. :-( I dare not mention the s-word lest ESB ban me again; but I can't see any UK TV station airing it. Indeed, only PBF vs. JMM and probably Pacquiao vs Cotto look like being shown over here. I want to savour Pavlik's renaissance in the boxing community, and the war while it lasts!

we'll find out right after he finds himself at the end of one of those long right hands. i think it will once he feels the power. the question is, does he know how to fight any other way? i have a feeling he gets hit hard and realizes it, but just keeps throwing anyways because that's his style. if that happens and his chin isn't complete granite (which is still up in the air), he's gonna get KO'd.
