Will Pavlik still be able to walk after Williams beats him down?

Hes right about the Margo wanting the rematch against Williams after the loss and williams refusing it.

Both pulled a 180 after the Margo/Cotto fight with Williams wanting the rematch and Margo refusing it.

What wrong with trying to get a bout with Cotto after he beat Margorito?

I mean whats the big deal with him gunning for something bigger?

The crazy thing is that PW has been cut pretty bad, but his corner does a great job, and PW stays calm. This "blood everywhere" is stupid!

Another thing, I don't think Paul has particularly tough skin, and with Pavlik's tendency to **** up his opponents eyes, that could be a factor, but why make **** up!

Paul will put on a lot of muscle for this fight. He is not naturally this weight. So it will be interesting to see if he can handle Pavliks power. If he can there is no chance for pavlik

Except a UD for Pavlik, I see little chance of that. he is not near slick enough to outpoint Pwill

Williams is not fundamenatally sound, his offense is sloppy, his defense is sketchy, he's not slick, he's not accurate, and in this one he has none of the advantages he is accustomed to.

Paul Williams is a pressure fighter who does the same thing over and over and over. When he is fighting opponents who are 4-6 inches shorter than him he can stand outside their range and overwhelm them with volume.

Pavlik is cut from a different cloth than anyone PW has faced. It fact, Paul probably hasn't even had nightmares as bad as December 5th will be for him. Everyone makes a big deal about PW's work rate. Pavlik has had many fights where the punch total would have been over 1000 had they gone the distance, but no middleweight has ever seen the 10th round against KP. I'll be surprised if PWilly sees the 6th.

Definitely can't wait how he handles someone as tall as him, as active as him with a LOT MORE power then him. I am guessing this is going to be a FOTY candidate for sure Boo.

It could very well rank up there with Haglar/Hearns for pure action. If you watch Haglar/Hearns from a more or less detached perspective, it wasn't that great of a fight. The first round was awesome. After that it quickly degenerated into your basic one-sided beating. If PW comes in and does want he normally does, we'll see a very similar result.

In order for Williams to beat Pavlik he'd have to fight like Mayweather. I've seen nothing that says he has the skills, or the psycholigical make-up to do that.

I don't know if you have thought about this Boo but do you think the judges will favor the more active fighter in PW(I still think he WILL be more active then KP) or the more harder and accurate puncher in KP? I am predicting a Pavlik TKO 7 but ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN in boxing, what do you think if it goes to the cards?:think

I think judges have been favoring activity but you are going to have two active guys so I don't think volume will be important. As long as both guys are willing to mix it up, that is all that counts for.

I like both fighters. I live near Cincinnati, so a big name from Ohio is cool, plus Pav is a good fighter...although he got schooled by B-Hop, but no shame in losing to a fighter of that caliber.

Williams is tall, lanky and fast. I've seen him look good, and not so good.
