I don't think so.

He deserves credit for beating Hatton but that is essentially a jr.welter fight. Mayweather to this day has faced only one top 147lber and that was cinderella man Baldomir. And I doubt he will ever go beyond that.

If you were Mayweather would YOU fight Margarito or Cotto?

There is a reason Mayweather payed $750,000 not to fight Margarito and there is a reason he's rather fight Hatton than Cotto.

If Cintron couldn't even phase Margarito, what is Floyd gonna do?

He'll have no choice, but to run ALL night, and if he attempts to clinch, Margarito will throw uppercuts.

Margarito is way too much risk, way too little reward.

As far as Cotto is concerned........the guy is a beast and he's skillful and can box.
