I fully accept that at the end of the day, the better fighter won, which was Floyd, but I wish both Roach and Manny would've kept their mouths shut before the fight. They didn't live up to their promise about cutting off the ring, knocking him out, etc...

Manny definitively should've been more busy in the ring...

Not just before the fight, but after.

    Their delusions/excuses were just shocking.

best defensive fighter in the last 15-20 years but only defense. By far not the best offensive fighter, defo not a knockout artist, whodafuc knows if he knows how to cut off the ring, who knows if he has an inside game, who knows if he knows if he even knows what a "killer instinct is, so many unanswered questions. Business yes, defensive the best in the last 15-20 years but only those 2 things.

    Hi Aqua mate.

We agree, Floyd is clearly not TBE.

Your point regarding Floyd's best win truly is an excellent one (and it's subtlety was not lost on me:lol:) as it would allow some people to get some perspective as to Floyd's place on the ATG list. After all, if one can find just five ATGs from either division who were better than "Prime" Floyd, then that immediately puts Floyd out of the top ten ATG!!!

I think Floyd is a top 30-50 ATG (which is great going) and at least a top 20 ATG defensive fighter.

If Floyd possessed an offence comperable to his defence then he would have been a top 20 ATG, no problem.. But he doesn't.

That's nice I thought people competed to win though?? The booing and cheering doesn't give you a win. If we are using objective criteria to decide who is better, then obviously popularity should have no bearing. I guess people hate winners. I am just glad that defensive boxing talent has for once come to mainstream consciousness. I mean back in Whitaker's day they robbed him whenever he faced a Mexican or Chicano. Glad that didn't happen to Floyd. For someone to beat him they had to actually beat him.

Floyd's career at WW has been impressive.. But "Prime Floyd" was at 130/135.

As for Floyd being the best WW of all time?? Sorry but SRL, Hearns , Duran, Tito, SSM, ODLH (the last three arent quite as good as the first three, but in their prime, which was at WW) , all beat Floyd handily.. and that is without considering the "Classics" such as SRR (almost certainly the greatest WW of all time) Armstrong, Ross, Griffith, Walcott, Napoles (etc, there have been a plethora of great WWs and I have not mentioned many others).

All non boxing fans thought manny won why is that? Manny is nowhere near his prime today he was kod cold two fights ago. Floyd couldn't do what marquez did why is that? Marquez did what Floyd wished he could 😂 😂

Best ever?:rofl He's not even the best of his generation.

The fight with Pacquiao proved he was the best of them in current time. But since he ran away/shat a brick/dodged the fight for years and waited till Pac declined we'll never know who would of won in there primes.

But my money would definitely be on Manny. Floyd obviously thought the same or he'd have made the fight happen back then
