Will people give ward the resepct he deserves if he beats Kovalev?

Ward CLEARLY won the first fight and he will do so in scintillating fashion once again

 

Ward is generally regarded as top 3 pound for pound. That seems to me like there is plenty of respect given.
Most of the boxing public thought Kovalev won the first fight. Obviously Ward gets shade thrown his way for that poor decision by the judges.
If the general boxing public feels he wins the rematch, of course he will get even more respect than he currently has.
Pretty simple stuff.
