    TBF Pirog did beat one of the best guys from 154 in Maciel who is getting ducked like the ****ing plague down at LM.

    And you are entitled to your opinion. But both Pirog and Golovkin would be more than just competitive. And besides who is more deserving than the two mentioned who are title holders at the weight?

    As for Pirog.... because beating Sturm (you know, the other middleweight title holder) in most peoples eyes is better then knocking out jacobs.


    As for them being title holders, fair enough, but when youre winning vacant trinkets, and have almost no actual resume to speak of, its also fair for the champ to say go beat someone and get back to me.

    In reality, Chavez Jr has a better resume then Pirog. Chavez Jr.

    But yes, them being title holders is good, and it would be awesome if Martinez chose to fight one of them I completely agree.

    But in reality? Not sure how people can sit there and say 'will they get their chance?' or that Martinez is ducking them, when they havent done anything to capture anyones attention.

    Pirog has had a whopping two fights since he beat jacobs. And hes trying to get a title shot?

    Martinez, the actual champion of the division, has been twice as active.

    Yes, Martinez should fight Pirog next if hes not going to fight Mayweather, Cotto, Sturm, or Chavez Jr. But to say hes ducking him is reaching, its not like Pirog has taken the division by storm and hes the elephant in the room. Its funny how people are acting like thats the case though.

    I think Sergio will go after Barker again or wait until Macklin has healed and then call him out for a rematch.
    Martinez doesn't want any part of Golovkin or Pirog.

    I'm agree with what you said .

    Pirog should fight with Golovkin and the winner of this fight should fight with Martinez !

    You have to fight with somebody good first and beat him to earn a shot against the champion.:yep

    Sergio Martinez only fights opponents who have a low ring IQ, who will act like punching bags. Sergio's KO ratio is now 53%, and that's after stopping 4 glass-jawed punching bags in a row.

    Pirog and Golovkin not only have high ring intelligence, but they also hit hard, and Sergio doesn't like the thought of getting his glass jaw shattered again.
