    bull****

I was at MSG for Cotto vs Clottey.

Let me tell you, PuertoRicans did not betray Cotto at all.

Also, Arum said Pac vs Cotto sold extremely well in Puerto-Rico.

My exact same feeling. I'm from PR and I went to Vegas to watch the fight and got that same feeling when I was there at the end of the fight. Cotto has alot of fans in PR, but he has alot of haters too here. Many people feel like he is full of himself. They compare him alot to Tito, since he was the people's champ everybody loved him. Alot of people don't understand that everyone has different personalities and want Cotto to be like Tito. However, the people who really know boxing are the ones who still love/support Cotto.

One of the things people were really concerned about was that Cotto liked to party ALOT. I used to cross paths with him almost on a weekly/monthly basis in different clubs in the Island. Almost everyone here in PR(atleast most of my friends and me) have pictures with him in different parties. When he lost to Margo/Pac many people started saying that it was because of the too much partying and stuff, which I agree it did to some extent. Nonetheless, I feel like you. Alot of people were cheering him before the fight and then started talking **** as soon as he lost. I would say that this kind of behavior is not only from the PR fans, but from most fans in general. Specially the ones who know **** about boxing and are only fans because the boxer is from their country :s

Cotto is full of himself and acts arrogant around the fans, one thing is to be reserved and quiet and to like your privacy but is another thing to be an ******* and act like a dick when people just want your autograph or a picture taken with you.. he might be quiet and private but he's far from humble

    :hat

Good post papa! And I agree 100%. However I must say this the only thing that I dislike about Cotto was when he got into a fist fight with his uncle because regardless of the reasons you should ALWAYS respect your elders specially in your own family so that to me really sucked. No matter what the issue was it should had never came to that and I think a lot of people in PR felt the same as I did. But I guess that runs in the family because his brother did the same thing to their uncle when he called him cabron on national TV, WTF is up with that man...

BTW.....I only drink DonQ with coke and a limon......:good

I agree with you but maybe their uncle really is a POS, I mean you got both brothers getting in fights with him and then Cotto Sr admitted his brother was wrong.
