Seems to me (and im not sure ) but Briggs 's reach is just as long or longer than Vitali's... and with Vitali getting older, getting out of the way of punches seems to be a bigger factor as of late for him.:huh

briggs sucking will play a factor...thats about it.....he lost to ibragimov throwing 53 punches the whole fight.....he beats guys with 19 losses in 1 round......he has no business fighting for a wba contientals america title much less vitalis belt

It should be a fun fight though for the first two to three rounds.

maybe for 1 round...then you will forgot how fun it was as briggs clutches for the next 11, not throwing any punches

A reach advantage is much less significant, when you are at a height disadvantage. Klitschko will have the effective reach advantage.

However, the only thing that will come into play in this fight is Briggs stamina. If he relies too much on the Shannon Brigs Strut, and not enough on punching, he'll get clobbered.

the only thing that will play a factor is briggs being a mixture of shot and shite.

Then tell me why Kevin Johnson's reach didnt come as a factor, he has 82" reach or Gomez 81". That reach wont matter, Briggs is slow anyways. He will be dangerous for 2 rounds but Vitali will be focused and wont trade with him early.

That is if Briggs goes after Vitali in those early rounds. He will get knocked out if he implements this strategy. If he decides to preserve stamina for 12 rounds, he will lose a decision but will finish standing on his feet.

Stamina will play a factor, I'm expecting Briggs to run out of gas in round 2 if he decides to throw enough early.

Besides power, briggs has excellent handspeed.

Briggs is worthless, he is pretty much without chance against Vitali. Should be an easy night for Dr. Grandpops.

I have to agree .. the match may come to be much more difficult than many expected. Older Klitschko has not been any more so mobile than he was a time ago.

Another thing that is the question mark is the condition of Briggs? (asthma etc)
