He is only in his early 30's now with the discipline of his fighting days over.

What about 10 years from now - 20 years from now - 30 years from now ?

What state will Ricky Hatton be in then ?:think

Not now the NOTW have selflessly saved him.

Given that his dad manages the finances I doubt he'll ever be short of cash.

I can see him continuing in a downward spiral that he's been in since Joe Cortez waved off the Mayweather fight..... whether he sorts himself out - which I hope he does - is anybodies guess.

Third option. I don't see how he will fill his days now he's retired, and he'll probably continue drinking excessively- but I don't think he'll ever be broke

Yes, the NOTW have shown him the error of his ways.

I can see him getting back into tip-top shape now, getting back into the fight game, signing to fight Khan, ploughing his way through the upstart, then having a warm-up fight against Bradley, handily outpointing Desert Storm, before facing the Pac-Mayweather winner, and gaining sweet, sweet revenge in a mid-rounds stoppage victory. Then he'll agree to fight Witter, and as he's lowering the working-class man's bic pen down towards the contract in order to sign it, with Junior salivating over all the money he'll make from the fight, he'll stop the nib of the bic just short of the paper and say "Nah, I've changed me mind. **** you Junior, I'm gonna retire and open a health food store instead. See ya!":hi:

If it ends up with him turning up to an armed stand off with a wanted fugitive for the lulz, then hopefully he'll end up like Gazza

No..........he's ****ing loaded, and will continue to role in the money, with Hatton promotions.

Plus Ricky Hatton is not really stupid, he just likes to have a good time.

correct he's just one of those people who like to go out and have a really good time by getting off his head it doesn't mean he's out of control , for starters his promoting is doing well and he's in the gym afew times a week its not like hes off his head every day.

It's hardly the lifestyle of choice for a supposedly elite athlete.
