Wow I'm schocked at how overrated Rigondeaux is. He's one of the best fighters in the game but to outright pick him to beat Donaire hands down when he hasn't beaten a single elite fighter is crazy! Rigo looks good against C or B level fighters while Donaire starches P4P guys. I like both fighters and I think it would be a very close fight and very boring too because both guys like to wait for their opponent to engage.
We are not discussing who beats who. We are talking about getting them in the ring. And one of them is reluctant to engage.
:deal Im suprised too it seems no one is giving Donaire a chance... They are both counter punchers.. not much breakdown of of that..
Rigo last weekend beat a dude that punched like a girl matter of fact a girl punches harder that teon seen this one chic once KTFO a dude with a slap on youtube.
I'm sure the impact of his punches could never compare to the staggering power of noted junior bantamweight KO specialist Omar Narvaez hitting a guy who outweighed him by 15 pounds.
If Donaire is smart he'll run far far away and never mention Rigo's name in public. But if he's a warrior ... he'll welcome the challenge. Rigondeaux is looking like the next #1 p4p.
Resume-wise that's true, but Kennedy was actually in Rigondeaux's weight class. Donaire was for all intents and purposes a super bantam fighting a junior bantam in that fight (and still couldn't come close to knocking him out).
Narvaez > Teon kennedy.FACT!! Narvaez fought cida who is way better than that bum Teon kennedy and beat him.A lot of boxer in Naravez resume > Teon Kennedy.FACT! The only legit opponent rigo fought was Cordoba.
Great, should be easy win for Donaire then. hmmmm...wait, i wonder why he is running for his life?atsch
Fact is Teon Kennedy can be KTFO COLD by anyone with decent power. Not drop him 10 times but cold, one shot.
gtfo troll. Rigondeaux has tremendous power and laser-like accuracy, especially to the body. Rigondeaux will make Doanaire **** his liver in the middle of the ring.
Really doubt Don~aire mans up and fights the Cuban beast, specially now after seeing such a razor blade performance last Saturday. Rigondeaux is " the boss " at 122, doesn't matter what their last names are, period.
