lol. I see. I don't hold it against any person who was dealt a bad hand at life if they are bitter. It's natural, it's a human emotion.

What did you expect from a smaller 37 year old fighting two weight classes up against a pound for pound guy who was built like a tank, fast, and had a high work rate, compared to the water logged giants he was pounding on at 122? Personally I thought he took the first round.

Built like a tank lol,you serious?
I’ve seen some write ups about Lomachenko but “built like a tank” is not one I’ve ever come across and let’s be honest this defeat wasn’t about the bigger guys power or anything as it was the speed, movement and skill that forced Rigo to quit.

Had this been a vicious KO or Rigo getting leaned on then you may of had a point.

Built like a tank, compared to the water logged giants Rigs was beating at 122. Amagasa, allegedly weighed in the 140s against Rigondeaux. Pedro Diaz stated that Donaire was like 143 or something. Both guys made weight at 122 for their fights with Rigondeaux. The weight they gained was water. Lomachenko weighed in at 130, and rehydrated at least 10 pounds by fight time. His body mass was much more solid than the other two guys I mentioned, because he's a naturally more massive boxer. That's all I was saying.

Lomas size clearly played a factor.

This is reality. There is no fight where the winner is 2'' taller (more like 3), 10lbs heavier, and 8 years younger, with the smaller, older fighter moving up two divisions with their first fight at the weight, where any of those dont play important factors.

    People are confusing

    - Lomas skills bothered Rigo

    with

    - Lomas size had no impact on the fight.

    When in reality

    - Lomas skills bothered Rigo, AND his size enhanced that effectiveness.

For sure even Lomo said as much but this post was replying to it being down to Lomo being built like a tank when Rigo has actually fought someone really built like a tank in the Japanese guy who did drop Rigo but ultimately his skill level wasn’t enough to make his size count.
I always thought this was more about each other’s styles with the more prolific Lomo always doing too much for Rigo in every round and bar a 10/8 round Rigo even without the broken hand would never do enough to impress the judges

I love Rigo but what happened shocked me. Yes he quit nd it's up there with No mas by Duran. Credit to Lomachenko.

The first sentence is a strange one. Then again being a die hard Rigo fan marks you out as a bit of an oddball from the start!
