Rivas is a bit of a wild card. I mean, other than the Jennings fight, there's just not much to go on from his resume.
He can crack a little bit, has pretty good hand speed for a HW, has a solid jab and right hand and he's built like an absolute brick craphouse. But he's short and really doesn't do anything special. He was able to work inside behind his jab vs Jennings long reach at times and had some success. But I think Whyte stops him late.

Could be since Rivas is a more skilled boxer than Parker is, but most likely not as durable.

I like Whyte to win and by late Stoppage
I hope we get a war of Attrition, like the first Chisora fight. Rivas is technically better than Sissora, and quicker too.
I think if this goes inside AJ is the only HW I'd pick on top of Whyte. I think it's on par with Parker but without Parker's chin factor. But we don't know about that yet, I think it's a good fight but not ppv

Roughly equal difficulty but they’re extremely different challenges. potentially more so as it’s unlikely Whyte will get a lucky fake-knockdown like he did in the Parker fight. Rivas is a heavier puncher and has better defense than Parker, but isn’t as versatile and most likely doesn’t have as good of a chin.

Different fighter, similar level. Whyte could have 7 fights with Parker and they would all be back at forth with nobody getting seriously injured, maybe a fatigue tko here or there.

Rivas is more easy to take rounds off of, but has real power and has the potential to basically shatter Whyte's impersonation of a top contender.

Parker is a 50/50 fight whereas Rivas is a mild underdog, but Rivas can make things go way off track for Whyte.

Rivas may come out guns blazing and take Whyte out early, he could also play it safe and take him out late. He retains his power deep into fights, and if Parker, who usually doesn't almost KO'd Whyte in the 12th. So can Rivas.

Rivas wins by KO, whenever he feels like doing so.

Rivas had a come from behind stoppage of a faded Jennings in his last fight. Whyte has a come from behind stoppage of a faded Chisora in his last fight. Jennings is more talented than Chisora, so you need to simmer down.

Rivas was actually up on 2 scorecards vs Jennings. The Chisora Jennings sparring sessions seemed to be competitive with Chisora getting the better of it.

If you want to get technical that's true, but Rivas was behind for most of the fight.

Sparring only counts for so much. Jennings fought Wlad right after Pulev, and performed much better than Pulev did. Pulev beat Chisora.

So does Whyte. Just one left hook and Rivas sleeps
