Will Roy Jones Jr. Vs. Joe Calzage be... another Camacho Vs. Leonard?
The ages are similar, Calzaghe has been a little more active then Jones.
(Tho nothing like a 6 year layoff, Like SRL's..)

Speed vs. Speed, Southpaw vs. Orthodox ect...

What is the Classic Forum's take on this fight?

Imo it´s a show fight like Jones vs. Trinidad with Jones in the role of Trinidad. Absolut meaningless. Jones isn´t shot but his greatest assets are gone. I don´t know why he still fights.

Calzage is a fighter who tho on the decline is still not far from the best in the sport. His last two wins have been utter class, winning the unification series over the excellent and undefeated Kessler then beating a still competitive Hopkins who refuses to go away.

Jones was past it nearly 5 years ago and Calz should be too fleet of foot. The only good thing for Roy is that Joe is not a big puncher.

But no, nothing like Camacho - SRL in that one of these guys is still a top fighter.

Calzaghe will lose soon. He's stuttering now and he will lose in an upset soon. Jones can pick good powerful shots but he seems to have lost all confidence in himself.
